With the Ullswater lake on one side and the Cumbrian countryside on the other, Lake View offers a delightful country stay
Lake View is situated between Ullswater Lake and the beautiful Cumbrian countryside, meaning you have access to plenty of wonderful scenery during your stay. This beautiful holiday home has perfectly blended the charm and character of the building and area with modern luxuries and amenities for complete style and comfort.
Sleeping up to eight guests across four bedrooms, the house is both versatile and spacious. On the ground floor are all the large social areas, including the huge open-plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and microwave. There is also an island with a breakfast bar that can seat up to four people. Elsewhere in the room is a comfy sofa sitting in front of the wood burning stove, that's ideal for cosy nights in, and a dining table and chairs seating up to eight in its own alcove. A row of large windows allows light to flood into this fantastic space and offers splendid views across the lake.
There is also a separate living room with an enormous U-shaped sofa that can accommodate several guests as they curl up in front of the television to socialise after a day out exploring. Also on the ground floor are two of the four bedrooms. The first has a king size bed, while the second is a twin but can be converted into a double with zip and link beds. Both bedrooms have en-suites with a shower over the bath. There is the same setup on the first floor, with a king size room and twin room with en-suite bathrooms for added privacy.
Heading outside reveals the lawned garden and terrace with outdoor dining furniture. From here those staying can truly take in the magnificent views of Ullswater and the fells beyond. This really is the ideal space to gather and enjoy your morning coffee, a glass of wine in the evening, or an alfresco meal with those you love.
Set within the Lake District National Park, Lake View is perfectly placed for getting out and enjoying one of the most beautiful areas in the UK. The Ullswater Way takes a circular route around the lake, and there are many pretty villages with pubs and shops dotted along the way. Alternatively a trip across Kirkstone Pass leads to Bowness on Windermere and Ambleside.
Please note: minimum stay for this property is: 3 nights low season & 7 nights high season
