You should know

The outdoor swimming pool is open from 1st April to 30th September; the hot tubs and sauna are open year-round.
You can bring up to two pets for a small extra charge. Dog walks are on your doorstep, and there’s also a dog washing station to clean those mucky paws.
Pets shouldn’t be left unattended in the cottage, and try to keep them off the sofa and beds.
A travel cot can be provided on request.

The Falmouth area is one of the UK's most sought-after holiday destinations, and this cottage is just a 10-minute drive from the bustling harbour town. Spend your time lounging on some of the best beaches in the country, trying new watersports, hanging at the harbour and sampling award-winning restaurants.

This one-bedroom contemporary cottage, ideal for two people or a small family, is set behind a pretty stone courtyard with plenty of amenities for a memorable holiday. Go for a dip in the large communal outdoor heated swimming pool before warming up in the hot tub and sauna, or reconnect with the family over a game of table tennis or pool in the communal games room. You can always take the kids to the children's play field with swings, trampoline, slide and games lawn, too.

With a modern and coastal interior design, the cottage is an inviting space to relax after a day exploring the Cornish coast. Make a brew from the Tassimo coffee machine and nestle into the large, comfortable sofa in the bright living room before dining alfresco or having a beer or two at the small bistro table on the sunny front patio.

When you're not exploring the local nightlife, binge-watch your favourite series on the smart TV or stay connected with high-speed WiFi. You can then cook a hearty meal in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The stylish shower bathroom is also on the ground floor.

Upstairs, enjoy a good night's rest in the super king-size bed - there's an additional pull-out bed for a child under 10, plus a travel cot is available on request.

You're perfectly placed just outside the picturesque village of Mawnan Smith, four miles from Falmouth. After surfing, paddleboarding or exploring hidden coves, head to Falmouth to browse the art galleries and boutique shops, dine in award-winning restaurants and take sunset walks along the harbour.

You can also explore the sub-tropical Trebah Garden - complete with a secluded beach - and the nearby museums and castles. But with so many amenities and lovely walks on your doorstep, you may find yourself staying close to the cottage.
