These six cottages are absolutely stunning in their own right, but it is the dazzling onsite facilities that really set them way above the rest. Set in thirty four acres of glorious Cornish countryside, there is plenty on offer with a hot tub barn, a dazzling pavilion on the hill and serene private woodland to name a few. Add to this a pamper room, gym and dog exercise area and you know you’re on to something special. With a 5 Star Gold award by Visit England and a Green Silver Tourism Award, these cottages tick all the boxes.
The six cottages are all wonderfully unique - catering for everything from a romantic retreat to a family-friendly get away. Inside, all the cottages have luxurious interiors with each one having its own individual stand out features, from exposed beams to wonderful vaulted ceilings and underfloor heating. Each cottage is fabulously light and airy with contemporary styling. Bedrooms are dressed in crisp white linen, whilst the super sleek bathrooms are fresh and modern. And with ultra fast broadband and Amazon firesticks in every cottage, your digital entertainment is delivered to you in style.
The largest cottage on site is The Old Farmhouse. Sleeping eight comfortably, this charming farmhouse is a flexible space that has a big kitchen, comfy lounge and nice spacious dining room. It also has a nice big garden that has a patio area and a private hot tub for that added slice of luxury.
Hob Nob used to house the old cider press, however, it’s been lovingly converted into a comfortable and stylish holiday home that’s ideal for families. Sleeping up to six people, Hob Nob has a cracking south facing, elevated location, which means guests can make the most of some amazing views across the Victorian Garden to the Woodland Walk and beyond.
A beautiful barn conversion, Blackberry Barn sleeps four people and is great for small groups of friends and family. This charming spot has a south facing garden that offers you a nice place to sit and soak up the sun in the warmer months.
Sleeping three across two bedrooms, making it ideal for a couple or young family, Rainbow Cottage comes with its own private lawned garden and patio that offers yet another great space for outdoor dining. It also has a living room balcony that has cracking country views.
The Honey Pot is a south facing cottage that sleeps two. Ideal for couples looking for a romantic rural retreat, this charming cottage has lovely views, and a comfy bedroom complete with a spectacular chandelier enclosed within a giant lampshade. Arrive back after a day exploring and curl up in front of the log burner for a cosy night in.
Last but not least is Spice Barn. This cracking two-person barn conversion has an upside down configuration, a beautiful courtyard garden and yet more incredible views. The downstairs bedroom has a comfortable big bed, and a spacious en-suite bathroom that’s complete with a walk-in shower and whirlpool bath for added luxury.
The facilities at Old Lanwarnick Cottages are as stunning as they are unique. Head out to the pavilion on the hill to take in the views in style. This wooden pavilion has a breathtaking wooden roof and is set up to house any special dining events that you might be planning. The Victorian garden is seriously impressive with its Victorian glasshouse and delightful rose arbour. Add to this a herb garden, an array of fruit trees, and beds overflowing with vegetables and flowers and you can't help but be impressed.
Take a walk around the wonderfully serene private woodland that comes complete with its own babbling stream - perfect for a game of hide and seek, or for simply relaxing under a tree with a good book.
For some serious relaxation, head directly to the delightful hot tub barn. And if you need to relax further then make your way to the Pamper room and choose from one of the gorgeous packages on offer.
Old Lanwarnick Cottages doesn’t just score well with humans - it’s also highly revered in the canine circles too. A brilliantly dog-friendly site that welcomes your four legged friend to holiday in style with you - offering everything from a dog exercise area to a hot water dog wash and their very own welcome basket. And these efforts have not gone unnoticed, with Old Lanwarnick Cottages being awarded both the Gold award for Dog friendly holiday cottages in Cornwall in 2018 and the Bronze award at the South West Awards. Praise indeed.
If you can bear to drag yourself away from this stunning site then there’s plenty going on in the surrounding area. Head to the coast just twenty minutes away to enjoy the charming fishing village of Polperro with its picturesque harbour and quaint alleyways. Here you can enjoy fabulously fresh seafood and stunning coastal walks.
