Sitting in Norfolk's beautiful Fring Estate is the Market Square House. The newest property to be restored on the Estate, The House comprises what was once three cottages, a Methodist, and a pub. So, guests can be sure that they will have more than enough space. This property has been refurbished to the highest of standards and, with its beautiful countryside setting, is guaranteed to provide guests with a stay that is both comfortable and arresting. Sleeping up to 10 guests, this is the perfect spot from which to explore the picturesque East Anglian countryside.
The house has been meticulously decorated throughout. Period features combine with a rustic modernity to create a unique aesthetic that stays true to the property's history, while still providing all the mod cons that guests could ever need. The ground floor houses a large sitting room with a log burner, an adjoining drawing room for cosy gatherings, and a large open planned (fully equipped) kitchen and dining room. The ground floor also has an en suite super king bedroom. The first floor has two king sized bedrooms (one with en suite), another bedroom with four single beds that can be arranged as either singles or double (please specify at the time of booking), and a family bathroom. Outside, guests can enjoy dinner on the terrace patio area or walk up the steps to the private enclosed garden area.
The north Norfolk countryside is famed for its gorgeous scenery, providing the perfect getaway for those who enjoy the wonders of nature. The famous Peddar's Way runs right through the estate. This ancient walking trail follows a 46-mile long Roman road through the diverse Norfolk countryside, all the way to the north coast. There are also various opportunities for cycling in the region. Other activities on offer in the area include birdwatching (RSPB Snettisham is a15-minute drive), golfing, and sailing (should you wish to head up to the Norfolk Coast - a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). Nearby towns worth a visit include the seaside town of Hunstanton and the market town of King's Lynn. The historic houses of Royal Sandringham and Houghton Hall are also a short drive away.
