In a delightful rural location, and boasting its own spacious outdoor activities, Griffin Lodge is a large and quirky house with an architecturally pleasing exterior, packed internally with modern amenities. Ideal for larger families, groups of friends, or any other big group looking to spend time in the countryside, Griffin Lodge is a great getaway.
Outside, there is a fully enclosed garden, which makes this a great property for families with smaller children, or groups with dogs. There is also a large climbing frame and a great BBQ set up, ideal for al fresco meals in the summer months. There is even a hot tub for your enjoyment, the perfect place to relax with friends and beers after a long day strolling in nature, shopping in the coastal towns, or swimming at the nearby beaches.
Inside the property, you'll be delighted by the combination of grand and original fixtures and modern luxuries. From the kitchen with its serious coffee hardware for gourmets and its fantastic range and cooker, to the five large bedrooms, two super-king and three king-sized, each with a private en-suite bathroom, this is one of those houses which feels immediately decadent and delightful. There's no shortage of space, so guests who need to work while on their break and children and teens who just want to run around, watch television and play can all co-exist comfortably, especially with every bedroom having its own bathroom, so there's no run on the showers when you get back from the beach.
Whether your dream holiday involves hours spent on the beach, great rural pubs with brilliant food and atmosphere, or a quiet time with good friends, preparing delicious meals and relaxing outdoors in a super-comfortable house in the countryside, Griffin Lodge has something for everybody.
With its proximity to the quaint and creative town of Southwold, this is a great spot for veteran Suffolk enthusiasts or first time visitors. Spend all day at the beach with a picnic, visiting the art galleries and shops, followed by fish and chips as the seagulls squawk overhead. Alternatively, the interior of Suffolk is a well-kept secret and real haven for artists, small businesses and foodies. Pleasing villages with quaint architecture and fantastic pubs abound, as do footpaths and cycling trails, many of which are found not far from your front door.
