Soak in the bubbling outdoor hot tub and light the sizzling barbecue, curling up beside the crackling fire and waiting for the wild, moonlit views. With lavish home comforts and a down-to-earth vibe, this sublime lodge offers a taste of real country life.
Little Bickley is set on the edge of pretty Milverton village, amongst grassy meadows and working pastures. Built in its own relaxing gardens next to a sprawling 12 acre field, it offers peace and tranquillity in magnificent rural scenes. Its contemporary interiors are finished with a rustic-luxe style and pair plush furnishings with shabby chic finds. Look out for the salvaged trunks and agricultural tools, along with the soft wool blankets and Farrow and Ball hues.
Each gorgeous room is packed with thoughtful, little details, including fresh flowers, wellie racks and picnic hampers. Put on a morning spread in the open-plan living area, tasting delicious local produce and sinking fresh farmhouse bread. There’s a well-equipped kitchen and a large family table, next to cosy sofas and a roaring log burner. Watch Netflix boxsets on those long, rainy days or use the Bluetooth sound system to add a soundtrack to your stay. Spill out onto the garden decking and dine alfresco in the sun, playing on the lawn or unwinding in your sheltered hot tub.
When night-time falls, you can cocoon yourself away into one of the three sumptuous bedrooms with sleek en-suite bathrooms. There are two charming doubles and a third double/twin, each dressed with designer sheets and massive sink-in beds.
Wake up refreshed and ready to explore, heading out amongst the Quantocks or the lush Blackdown Hills. There are vast open moorlands and flourishing, rolling hillsides, where you can hike, bike and ride through the stunning, untouched countryside. Spot beautiful wildlife at the Langford Nature Reserve or visit Wivlescombe and Taunton for their rich, local heritage. Adventure centres and wildlife parks are on hand for family days out, along with ancient castles and landscaped manor gardens.

High quality furnishings with great style, little details like the hand made soap, family & children's games & outdoor blankets made for a lovely personal feel. The hot tub was fantastic & a great addition to the accommodation. We would definitely come back & stay here again.
