Leave the gadgets behind and experience nature at its finest, with a stay at this off-grid hideout in the West Devonshire countryside. Hidden in a private 2acre woodland next to an idyllic babbling stream, Devon Dens is a restful sanctuary where you can live the original camping dream. Embark on wholesome country adventures or relaxed, tech-free days, swinging in the hammock and stargazing till late. Reconnect with loved ones and revive your inner soul, weaving lasting memories and letting nature take control.

The Devon Dens retreat is home to two gorgeous timber cabins that have been carefully handcrafted to blend in with Mother Nature. Built with an uber-green ethos and a minimal carbon footprint, they are natural havens with an eco-friendly spirit. Expect solar powered lights and composting loos, along with reed water filters and delicious home-grown hampers. Their down-to-earth interiors even have a timeless atmosphere, with crackling wood burners and handmade furniture.

The cosy Den is the smaller of the two with its open-plan living area and snug mezzanine bedroom. Theres an additional sofa bed and a compact
kitchenette, with your very own outdoor firepit and private bathroom. Enjoy a steaming hot shower in the fresh country air, before cooking your morning breakfast and sitting out in your Adirondack chairs.

Just across the way, in its own soothing woodland pocket, is a contemporary, pondside cabin with a modern, indoor bathroom. Finished with calming pastel shades and oodles of natural light, the two-bed cabin is a relaxing group hideaway. Theres a sweet double bedroom and a double sofa bed, along with a mezzanine level with twin single beds. The open-plan living and kitchen area has everything you could want, including an oven, hob and electric cool box.

Spend peaceful days soaking up the tranquillity of the woods, waking to the sound of birdsong and the tinkling of the brook. Watch for the magnificent buzzards swooping in and out of the trees or the playful rabbits darting through the fields.

There are piles of books and puzzles for rejuvenating, lazy days, next to bird-watching binoculars and traditional board games. As night time falls, you can sing songs around the fire, devouring gooey marshmallows and gazing up at star-studded skies.

For adventure-filled days, maps show walking routes straight from the gate, or head to Dartmoor National Park, exploring its wild open moors and flourishing river valleys.
