Each cottage has been finished to an exceptionally high standard and both have superior fittings and a fantastic attention to detail. You can expect oak beamed ceilings and characterful, thatched roofs as well as slate floors, brick archways and underfloor heating throughout the properties. The crisply painted walls are adorned with vintage seaside prints adorn and are complimented by fresh, vibrant colours and modern wall art. A wood-burning stove in Flint, logs provided, an electric effect fire in Thatched, and sink-in sofas ensure you stay warm and cosy all year round, offering a nice homely touch. Each cottage also has an oak farmhouse kitchen with range cookers and granite worktops.
First up is Thatched. This is a delightful thatched cottage that also sleeps up to six guests, this time across in three en suite bedrooms. A roll top bathroom, plus two modern wet rooms tubs, Egyptian cotton bed linen and fluffy bath towels combine to offer a slice of luxury during your stay. The spacious open-plan living area is flooded with natural light, offering great views of your surroundings. In winter stay cosy inside by the log burner, and during summer, open up the double doors and let the outside in. The living area has a nicely equipped kitchen and dining space, as well as a comfy lounge complete with a TV for movie nights in. Thatched, which is dog-friendly, also has a private, enclosed garden complete with a Weber BBQ and outdoor dining furniture.
Flint Cottage completes the pair. This cottage also sleeps six guests in three en suite bedrooms and offers yet more amazing views of the rolling hills and surrounding ancient woodland. Another nicely equipped kitchen makes dinner prep a joy, whilst the quaint, cosy living room is a nice spot to sit in front of the fire with a glass of wine and your loved ones. This dog-friendly cottage also has a private enclosed west-facing garden complete with a gas Weber BBQ and outdoor furniture, meaning you can enjoy some al fresco dining in the warmer months.
Guests at Higher Wiscombe can have exclusive use of the on-site swimming pool. The shared pool has reserved daily sessions, with each cottage having 3.0 hours of exclusive use per day. The pool, however, is only open from Whitsun week to the end of September, though this may be extended depending on the weather.

You can enjoy days at the beach, followed by gourmet food and a classic cream tea. Be sure to visit the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and walk the South West Coastal Path, or cycle along winding rural lanes and picnic above the sands.
