Three beautiful cottages tucked in a private East Devon valley a short drive from the Jurassic Coast.
These three beautiful cottages are tucked away in a picturesque slice of East Devon countryside. Nestled in a luscious, private valley a few miles from the marvellous Jurassic Coast, these cottages offer plenty of comfort and lots of rural charm.
Each cottage has been finished to an exceptionally high standard and all three have superior fittings and a fantastic attention to detail. You can expect oak beamed ceilings and characterful, thatched roofs as well as slate floors, brick archways and reclaimed prison doors. The crisp white walls are adorned with vintage seaside prints adorn and are complimented by fresh, vibrant colours and modern wall art. Underfloor heating and sink-in sofas ensure you stay warm and cosy all year round, offering a nice homely touch. Each cottage also has an oak farmhouse kitchen with range cookers and granite worktops.
First up is Buzzard cottage. This stunning space is basically a downsized winery. The property sleeps up to six guests and offers five super-comfy en suite bedrooms. There's a beautiful open plan living area with a marvellous kitchen/dinging space, and a big, comfy living room for relaxing evenings in front of the TV with friends. The living area also has sliding doors that open out onto the terrace where you can sit and socialise in the sunshine when the weather is nice. There is also a bar in the downstairs sitting room where you can enjoy a drink in the evenings. From the second upstairs sitting room guests can also access the giant glass-sided balcony. Here there are outdoor sofas in season, and outdoor furniture in winter, meaning you can sit and soak in the stunning views in style.
Next up is Thatched. This is a delightful thatched cottage that also sleeps up to six guests, this time across three en suite bedrooms. Roll top bath tubs, Egyptian cotton bed linen and fluffy bath towels combine to offer a slice of luxury during your stay. The spacious open-plan living area is flooded with natural light, offering great views of your surroundings. In winter stay cosy inside by the log burner, and during summer, open up the double doors and let the outside in. The living area has a nicely equipped kitchen and dining space, as well as a comfy lounge complete with a TV for movie nights in. Thatched also has a private, enclosed garden complete with a Weber BBQ and outdoor dining furniture.
Flint Cottage completes the trio. This cottage also sleeps six guests in three en suite bedrooms and offers yet more amazing views of the rolling hills and surrounding ancient woodland. Another nicely equipped kitchen makes dinner prep a joy, whilst the quaint, cosy living room is a nice spot to sit in front fo the fire with a glass of wine and your loved ones.
