In the Cornish countryside, nestled among undulating hills and serene woodlands sits The Ash Field Yurt.
Ash Field Yurt is situated on Sunnybank Farm, a tranquil smallholding consisting of 37-acres of woodlands, moors and pastureland. It is surrounded on two sides by Cornish hedgerow trees and looks southward over the Cornish countryside. During the day, you will be able to enjoy the quiet beauty of your surroundings while at night, the yurt is wonderfully illuminated by candle lanterns and solar lighting - the perfect setting to take in the midnight stars.
Sleeping up to six guests (four big and two small), The Ash Field Yurt is a Cornish retreat like no other. This glamping gem is perfect for couples or small families who enjoy nothing more than quiet countryside living and the joy of each other's company.
Surprisingly spacious, the 20ft Ash Field Yurt has everything you could possibly need to make your secluded stay one of comfort and relaxation. It has been beautifully decorated by the owners, with charming fixtures and it is adorned in the finest linens. The well-equipped kitchenette beside the entrance makes cooking a breeze, there's a cool box to store food, and you can cook on the gas hob, outside on the BBQ, or even on top of the wood burner.
The Ash Field yurt and pod has one king size bed, one double futon, and one single futon. For the kids, a separate 10ft little pod sleeps another two guests on a double futon. So, no tiptoeing around once the they've gone to bed.
The bathroom yurt is a short stroll away, and is shared between three yurts. There's also a lovely solar shower with woodland views. Each yurt has its own private compost ig-loo.
As you step outside the yurt and onto the decking, you will be greeted by the sight of the surrounding woodlands and the rolling Cornish hills. We can't think of any better place to enjoy a morning coffee. And should you wish to take a stroll, you are more than welcome to explore the 37-acres of fields and woodlands on Sunnybank Farm.
Should you wish to venture a little further out, then Cornwall is right on your doorstep. One of the UK's most beautiful landscapes, the Cornish countryside has long been a favourite of artists, nature-lovers, hikers and cyclists. Nearby places of interest include Hawks Tor, Golitha Falls and Tintagel Castle.
