Less than five miles from Bude on the north Cornwall coast, Roundhouses at East Thorne offers guests a variety of gorgeous roundhouses to relax and unwind in. Whichever ultra-luxurious Roundhouse you choose, you’ll have a wonderful glamping break. East Thorne has something for romantic weekends, family holidays and getaways with friends.
The original Roundhouse is ideal for couples and offers a romantic retreat in its own private garden, tucked away from the main site. Guests can unwind in their own wood-fired hot tub, or light up the fire bowl to get cosy in the evening. The high-end interior includes a wood-burner, underfloor heating and a luxurious ensuite bathroom, complementing a beautiful king size bedroom with a hint of Scandinavian style. Wooden flooring and chunky kitchen counters add to the cabin feel, with the larch wood Roundhouse covered by an ‘eco’ grass roof with a central sky-view porthole for stargazing.
The private garden also features a covered alfresco supper kitchen and the previously mentioned fire bowl, for atmospheric dining into the late evening. Tempting treats, like bottles of wine and gourmet hampers, packed with Cornish favourites, are available to all guests too!
The Roundhouses are equally comfy, with stylish touches and impressive features. Each offers a great space for families and those travelling with pets to relax just a short hop from the North Cornish coast. Each Roundhouse has been styled individually to reflect the elements of East Thorne's logo and they really do set the bar in glamping heaven. The Roundhouses have internal fully fitted kitchens, two cabin rooms, an en-suite bathroom and beautiful electric hot tubs that you can sink straight into.
No matter which Roundhouse you choose you are still able to access all of the facilities on offer at East Thorne. This includes the games room, TV room, treatment room, outdoor pizza oven and the communal camp fire. However, you have plenty of privacy if you'd rather relax in your own space with your loved ones.
All this is in peaceful surroundings just a short drive from the Cornish coast, and with virtually every detail taken care of – even activities like surfing and horse-riding can be arranged – Glamping at East Thorne is the place to be for a stress-free break with lots of charm.
