Guests can relax and unwind in the living room that features an opulent L-shaped sofa alongside an electric fireplace to keep you warm and toasty all year round. You can sit here with your loved ones and enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching your favourite shows and movies on the Smart TV.
The property also has a spacious, modern kitchen with plenty of fantastic appliances and a kitchen island. This is ideal for guests who want to sit with a drink and keep the designated chef company whilst they prepare meals. When it comes to dinner time Old School Mews has a large dining table and benches that sit next to big sliding glass doors. In summer, why not slide these open and let the outside in whilst you enjoy meals with your loved ones? Or, when the sun's shining dine al fresco in the garden that's complete with patio furniture and a BBQ. This is a family-oriented space perfect for dogs and children who can play on the lawn.
Sleeping six, Old School Mews is apt for a family holiday. There are three bedrooms at this property, two of which have king sized beds, and the third has zip and link beds. These zip and link beds are made up as a double, but can be split into two singles if required. The stylish bedrooms feature uniquely shaped windows flooding the rooms with natural light and two of the bedrooms also have en suite bathrooms. There's a third, shared bathroom for added convenience. When it comes to amenities, the property is equipped with bed linen and cooking basics, alongside plenty of electrical appliances in the form of a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and refrigerator.
Located on the Isle of Wight, Old School Mews is a gorgeous family retreat. Children will adore a visit to iconic Victorian theme park Blackgang Chine, the oldest amusement park in the United Kingdom. Get close to the animals at Monkey Haven, Wildheart Animal Sanctuary or The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, promising hours of fun for children and adults alike.
The island also has natural beauty at every corner, boasting a number of opportunities for stargazing, cycling, and fossil hunting. Playfully earned the title of “Dinosaur Island”, the Isle of Wight is famous for its fossils scattered across the coastline, and as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the island is a confirmed hotspot for stargazing. The Bicycle Island initiative offers up fantastic cycle routes across the island, allowing guests to stop off at Sandown, Shanklin, Ventnor or Colwell Bay along the way.
