Located close to Lymington’s High Street near the coast in the New Forest, Deer Lodge is a spacious holiday home with all the extras you might expect in a top hotel. Start your day with a dip in the heated pool or a session in the gym before heading out to explore the surrounding coast and countryside. After a busy day, sit back and relax with a glass of something in the hot tub or in the cosy cabana while the kids challenge each other to a game of football or ping pong. Deer Lodge is also a great choice for eco-conscious holidaymakers with a car charging point and solar and hot water panels.
Step inside and the open plan design immediately creates a sense of space. The kitchen, dining room and living room are all open and span the full width of the house, creating a wonderful social space whether you’re relaxing in the living room or preparing dinner in the kitchen. There’s also a cabana just off the living room, ready with a heater, throws and cushions to keep you cosy whatever the weather.
There are four large bedrooms, one downstairs and the other three upstairs. The downstairs bedroom is next to the spacious family bathroom and the upstairs rooms all have their own en suites. The master bedroom is particularly impressive with a roll top bath in the bathroom and floor to ceiling windows offering gorgeous views out over the garden and to the countryside beyond. This is perfect for enjoying the sunset or sunrise from the comfort of your pillow.
There’s more to discover outside with a huge hot tub, big enough to accommodate everyone. You can also slide back the wooden decking with the flick of a switch to reveal a heated swimming pool. This is an elite-level swim-current pool, so you can splash around or go for a serious swim. Just across the garden, there’s a superbly equipped gym with everything from weights to a skiErg machine and an assault bike. You’ll also find a space for some alfresco dining complete with a gas barbecue and a pizza oven.
If you manage to exhaust all the activities available at Deer Lodge itself, there’s plenty to discover in the surrounding area. The house is located in the beautiful Georgian coastal town of Lymington. You’ll find a high street packed with boutique shops and surrounded by National Park and the coast. Whether you prefer to stick to the shops and take advantage of some of the great restaurants and cosy pubs, or you’re up for a long coastal walk or a bracing sea swim, there’s something for everyone here.

Please expect our short stays to be 60%+ of our weekly prices. We are not a hotel and it takes a huge amount of work, especially with COVID around, to make the house clean and right for guests. Kids in travel cots stay free.
