Tucked away in a peaceful slice of Devon countryside between Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth, Lofty’s is a delightful holiday retreat for four. Warm and cosy, with a private hot tub, outdoor fireplaces, roll-top baths and more, this is the perfect place for your next break with friends.
The open plan main living space at Lofty’s features a barn style high ceiling with exposed beams adding to the rustic, rural allure of the place. Crisp cream walls and a dark wood floor continue the countryside charm, whilst the log burner at one side of the room allows you to keep your toes cosy and warm as you settle in with a good book.
The living area features two big leather sofas where you can get comfy with your loved ones. There’s also a smart TV should you wish to enjoy a movie night or box set marathon! The open plan nature of the space means you can all socialise together whilst the designated chef whips up a feast in the nicely equipped kitchen.
When the weather’s nice you can dine alfresco on the fabulous private patio before enjoying a relaxing dip in the hot tub. The patio also has a covered spot where you can light the wood-burner and stay cosy with a drink as the stars come out up above.
When bedtime beckons, head into the two wonderful bedrooms, which both offer a peaceful night’s rest. Both these rooms come with their own ensuite bathrooms, that both feature wonderful freestanding bathtubs, where you can enjoy yet another indulgent soak after a day exploring the surrounding countryside, and large walk-in showers.
Lofty’s sits at the end of a long private drive within 50 acres of beautiful farmland. So when you want to venture out, there’s lots of marvellous scenery all around just waiting to be explored.
If you wish to venture slightly further afield, then why not pop over to Dartmouth, a beautiful town situated on the banks of the picturesque River Dart, that offers great opportunities to get out on the water or visit some delightful pubs and restaurants. The incredible Salcombe is also nearby and well worth a visit offering yet more amazing spots to dine by the water’s edge.
