Enjoy picnics on the lawn or messing about on the water, before strolling through the ancient woods or through the vibrant wildflower meadows. With luscious fields and golden lakes adorning the gorgeous rural scenes, this is the ideal place to live out your wholesome, country dreams.
Sunridge Lodge is a beautifully restored barn that is nestled on the outskirts of the charming village of Yealmpton. Dating back more than 200 years, it has an interesting history and lovely, period features. Carefully renovated and with a contemporary edge, it is now a luxurious home with its own open-air hot tub and magnificent entertainment room 'The Hub' complete with a huge home cinema screen.
The bijoux cottage is an intimate space that includes an open plan living area and first floor sleeping arrangements. The sleek, designer kitchen has been exquisitely finished and overlooks a glass-top dining table and two chic leather sofas. Exposed stone walls add to its rustic charm and are joined by thick beamed ceilings and an Italian tiled floor. A wood burning stove is on hand to keep you cosy and warm, along with underfloor heating and sumptuous furnishings.
A beautiful oak staircase leads up to a mezzanine bedroom that has two single beds and an additional futon. Doors open out onto the magnificent tiered deck that has uninterrupted views out over the landscape. A comfy double bedroom can also be found on the first floor and has vaulted beamed ceilings and whitewashed walls. Modern technology brings the property right up to date and includes free Wi-Fi, games consoles and MP3 docks.
Outside, the lodge has an enchanting character and is surrounded by blossoming meadows, secluded fields and babbling waters. A private fishing lake is just a short walk through the forest and is teeming with colourful fish and flourishing wildlife. The local South Hams villages are also brimming with charisma and have delicious restaurants, atmospheric pubs and long, sandy beaches.
If you don’t want to venture far from your little woodland idyll then you can always relax on your very own country-view decking. With a deluxe, open air hot tub and sublime rural views, you can forget about the outside world and live for the moment. Watch the crimson sunrises and cook on the open flames, before enjoying a moonlit soak beneath the starry planes. With nothing but nature to interrupt your thoughts, you can cleanse you mind and revitalise your soul.
Guests are also able to make use of The Hub. This secluded entertainment room is available for a slight added cost per day. The Hub offers you and your loved ones the chance to make use of an array of super-fun entertainment options, including the state of the art 4K 3D Ultra HD projector, combined with the very latest Dolby Atmos sound system. The huge five metre screen makes movie nights a real joy! This space also has a retro arcade machine, an XBOX ONE games console, an ultra HD blu-ray player and a Smart Enabled 50 Inch HDTV with Freeview. There are also a number of AV gadgets for you to use as well as four sets of 3D glasses! The Hub also opens up nicely onto a spacious deck, where you can sit in the sunshine or the shade and enjoy some peace and quiet. Or why not hunker down, close the blackout curtains, and immerse yourself in a number of fantastic movies?

The weekly rental ranges from £1495 to £1995 per week, depending on the season. Short breaks are available from £300 per night depending on numbers (with a min of 2/3 nights, 3 Nights especially weekends). Please check with us should you want a shorter mid-week stay or last minute shorter break. All prices now include the Cinema HUB and Lodge Hot tub. Exclusive and private to the Lodge guests only.
