This beautiful cottage sits on the incredible Goodwood Estate, close to Goodwood House. With spectacular views that stretch out across the estate to the city of Chichester and the twinkling sea on the horizon, the cottage offers you and your loved ones an idyllic spot to unwind in style.
The Pheasantry is a luxury, self-catering holiday cottage that comfortably sleeps six guests in three bedrooms. The cottage makes use of stylish decor, bold colour choices and period features, giving it plenty of character.
After a day exploring the estate and the wider West Sussex countryside, whip up a delicious feast in the fully fitted kitchen. This room has all the amenities you’ll need to prepare hearty breakfasts, tasty lunches and scrumptious evening meals for your group. Enjoy meals on the dining table in front of the log burning fireplace, before retiring to the lounge for a drink with your loved ones.
The stylish lounge features a big sofa, an armchair and a TV that’s ideal for movie nights. Throw some logs on the wood burning fireplace and settle in for the evening. When the weather’s warm you may also wish to head out into the impressively large, lawned garden where you can socialise in the warm country air. This is an ideal place to relax with your loved ones whilst watching the children play.
When night falls, the cottage has three fabulous bedrooms on offer. The master bedroom and the second bedroom can both be made up with either king size beds or twins, offering plenty of flexibility. And finally, the third bedroom has a comfy double bed. This offers lots of different sleeping arrangements to cater for a range of different group types.
After a day exploring the estate, you can rest and unwind in the big bathtub in the tranquil and stylish bathroom. The room features striking blue tiles and you can fill up the tub and enjoy a relaxing soak in peace. Elemental Herbology bathroom products and toiletries are provided for your use throughout your stay.
Guests are also provided with a welcome hamper full of Goodwood Home Farm organic produce, as well as bits and pieces from other wonderful local suppliers.
When it comes to filling up your days, you’ll be delighted to know that guests staying at The Pheasantry can enjoy full access to the leisure facilities at The Goodwood Hotel and Health Club. This includes an indoor swimming pool and two championship golf courses! You can also enjoy a meal at one of the estate’s exceptional restaurants which showcase estate-reared organic meat, dairy and ales from Goodwood Home Farm. Guests are also welcome to use The Kennels and Goodwood's Private Members Club.
If you wish to venture further afield, then the charming city of Chichester is close by. Chichester is home to some lovely pubs, quaint cafes and ample shopping opportunities. You can also walk and cycle the South Downs or enjoy a stroll amongst the dunes at The Witterings.
