The Grange is a newly renovated family house that sleeps up to 20 guests. Situated in the idyllic Yorkshire Dales, the property offers nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms, making it an excellent choice for larger family or group getaways. With its lovely garden and fabulous location, just a short walk from a number of charming villages, the Grange is the ideal hub for immersing yourself in the tranquil surrounds of the Yorkshire Dales.
Fitted out with luxury amenities and finishings, The Grange marries these features with period details, offering guests the best of both worlds. The palatial building has a number of sitting and living spaces across two generous floors, including a plush conservatory overlooking the local cricket ground, making it effortless to spread out and relax. And you can truly pamper yourself with afternoons the hot tub and evenings in front of the fire.
The property is home to a large fully-equipped kitchen, with two electric ovens, a hob, large freezer and two fridges. There's a family-sized kitchen dining table, plus a beautiful dining room, perfect for a grown-up evening meal. For outdoor cooking on sunny afternoons, you'll find a charcoal BBQ.
On the first floor reached by the main staircase are five double bedrooms, two ensuite and two separate bathrooms. Please note bedrooms three and four are joined, with access to four via three. There are a further three double bedrooms and two bathrooms also on the first floor, accessed by the second staircase. On the floor above is a large bedroom sleeping up to four, with a double bed and two singles, plus an open plan bathroom.
The Grange is ideally located for exploring the highlights of the Yorkshire Dales. Just a short distance from the property is the renowned village of Middleham, home to the notorious Middleham Castle. The castle, a former residence of Richard III, is fairly well-preserved and a terrific example of medieval architecture. In Middleham itself, you'll find many examples of pre-1600s architectural design, and the elegant village is a lovely place for an afternoon stroll.
Also near The Grange are Richmond and Leyburn, two of the Dales' best-known towns. The area is a fantastic place for walking and biking. One of the UK's most significant National Parks, the Yorkshire Dales encompass countless shorter and longer walking and biking paths and are a must-see destination for nature lovers, come rain or shine.
