This renovated Grade II listed farmhouse can be found nestled in a quiet and beautiful location on the edge of the wild and romantic North Yorkshire moors.
Its combines modern interiors and furnishings yet maintains its farmhouse character while its plentiful rooms and abundance of inside and outside space make it the ideal spot to reunite with friends and family.
Visitors will be wowed on arrival as they pull up the large gravel driveway and are greeted by this handsome former-farmhouse and its surrounding outbuildings.
Wander through the wooden gate and over the threshold, through an entrance area and directly into the kitchen which is truly the heart of the home. Farmhouse-style with wooden units and a large tiled floor, yet full of all the modern touches today's visitors expect for a relaxing stay. A large island stands as the centre piece where the cooks and their assistants will love putting together celebratory meals for friends and family.
Just off of the kitchen is a large dining area with a grand wooden dinner table and a double-sided wood burning stove with a plentiful supply of logs. Get-togethers will last long into the night as groups dine, drink and laugh in comfort and style.
Beyond the dining table is the living area, perfect for retiring to after dinner. The celebrations can continue under exposed timbers and beside the cosy wood burner. Sink down into deep leather sofas with a nightcap in hand and make plans for tomorrow.
When bedtime beckons there will be no bickering over rooms, they are all equally luxurious with crisp linens and stylish furniture. One of the bedrooms is en suite and there are a further three modern, stylish and spacious bathrooms with fluffy towels and plenty of hot water.
The farm is located in the village of Sherburn and the area is a mecca for hikers and cyclists due to its proximity to the Wolds Way, Dalby Forest and the North Yorkshire Moors. The village has two shops and a fish a chip shop. Foodies will be keen to visit nearby Malton which has become known for its great pubs, restaurants and shops. Among the many favourites are The New Malton and the restaurant at The Talbot Hotel.
