You’ll find this luxurious glamping pod on the banks of the River Waveney in the Broads National Park in Suffolk. Secret Garden has two bedrooms and is set in its own garden space with lovely views out to the water. It’s a peaceful spot, ideal for family holidays away from the hustle and bustle and with plenty of adventures awaiting on the Broads.
The pod has wood cladding, allowing it to blend in with the natural landscape while big windows and patio doors help make the most of the view. Inside, you’ll find a generous open plan living space with a big comfy sofa for relaxing after a busy day exploring out on the Broads. Put your feet up with a book or put a film on for a cosy evening in. There’s also a kitchenette with all the basics to cook up some delicious, simple meals, such as a fridge, electric hob and a microwave. There’s also the option of ordering breakfasts, hampers and picnics from Beccles Station cafe which will be delivered right to your door.
The master bedroom has a luxurious double bed set under the curved ceiling of the pod, creating a relaxing space. The second bedroom is perfect for children with a creative L-shaped bunk bed which they’ll find cosy and comfortable. Next door, there’s a bathroom with a powerful shower waiting to refresh you after exploring Suffolk’s countryside.
Outside on the deck, you’ll find some outdoor furniture, the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or an alfresco meal with the family. There’s also a fire pit to keep you cosy in the evenings while you sit out under the stars.
Secret Garden is located in the Suffolk market town of Beccles where the slower pace of life next to the river invites you to relax and unwind. If you're up for a bit of an adventure, there are canoes, kayaks and pedal boats available for hire. Explore the Waveney river and valley and see if you can spot some of the local wildlife, such as herons, otters and kingfishers. If you’re looking to venture a little further into the Broads there are self-drive day boats available to hire. If you prefer keeping your feet firmly on dry ground, there are plenty of riverside walks through the Waveney Valley where you can follow the meandering river through the pretty countryside.
