Delve deep into the heart of lush, rural Suffolk with a stay at these boutique glamping tents in an idyllic nature reserve.
Uncover some of nature’s best kept secrets with a stay at this boutique glamping site in rural Suffolk. Surrounded by enchanting woodland and lush, open fields, it is a captivating place full of halcyon dreams. Rare birds soar above flourishing meadows and woodland. With no mod-cons to get in your way, you can enjoy romance and adventure every single day.
The Secret Meadows tents are set within the grounds of White House Farm which is part of a 115 acre nature reserve. Furnished with cosy sofas, sink-in beds and handmade kitchens, they are indulgent hideaways in the heart of Mother Nature.
The six off-grid tents have a natural wood base with a quality canvas roof and luxurious, little touches. A private toilet and shower can be found at each, along with an al fresco dining area and a Kadai fire bowl and barbecue. Beyond the relaxing deck there is a spacious open plan living area that has a beautiful selection of handpicked furniture. Candle chandeliers hang above antique dining tables, while oil lanterns are on hand for added ambience.
The country kitchen has plenty of charming home comforts, including a butlers sink with running water. A vintage dresser adds to the homely vibe and is joined by a gas-powered fridge and a wood-fired range.
Each of the tents has room for up to six and includes a master double and a separate bunk room. With a rustic four-poster bed and a fluffy duvet, the master room is a romantic hideaway. A third double bedroom is also a quirky touch and is an enclosed wooden cabin with a comfortable mattress. Hidden behind handcrafted doors in the main living area, it is a magical place for little ones to curl up in. If hot tubs are your thing be sure to request the Self Heal tent when booking.
When you’re ready to head out on a voyage of discovery, there is plenty to see and do in the local area. The bustling market towns of Woodbridge and Framlingham are within driving distance, along with the picturesque Suffolk coast and its secluded beaches. Closer to home, the wildlife site is brimming with an intense natural beauty and has plenty of interesting fauna and flora to uncover. You can collect eggs from the hens or feed the British White Cattle, before filling your picnic hamper with goods from the pantry. Books and games can also be found in the tents, while fun woodland activities can be booked for the kids.

Leave a reviewAmazing place! We stayed as a group of 10 friends in two safari tents (one with a hot tub). Most of us hadn’t been glamping before so we didn’t quite know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised by the standard of home comforts the tents provided. The surrounding woodland was very picturesque and we saw a group of deer and lots of other wildlife. The tents are suitable for groups, families or couples as they are very generously spaced and so you never feel overlooked by other guests. I’m already planning another visit for me and my husband.

We had a wonderful 4 night break glamping at Secret Meadows. Our tent was beautifully appointed and clean, we loved the eco theme running through the accommodation. Really comfortable beds and having the shower and toilet facilities was such a luxury. The site was very peaceful and we enjoyed sunny walks around the meadows looking at butterflies, birds, hares.
