For a romantic break with a unique twist, Moonraker offers two guests the chance to stay on a lovingly restored narrow boat based on a peaceful farm in Northumberland. With all its rustic and cosy charm, staying aboard Moonraker is a special glamping experience, with everything needed to be comfortable and at home. With its own bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as a well-equipped kitchen, Moonraker is both charming and practical. The local area provides an endless amount to see and do, whether it's watersport adventures or tranquil walks in the gorgeous countryside.
Aboard Moonraker, guests will be delighted with the homely feel, and stylish interiors with views all around the lovely Middlemoor Farm. The modern kitchen fits in a hob with oven, as well as a sink and the usual appliances for toast and tea in the morning at the dining table. The cabin bed gives guests a comfy night's sleep with electric heaters to stay nice and warm during the winter months. The shower and toilet is under canvas in the bow of the boat and offers amazing views over to Lindisfarne Castle in the distance. Outside, there is a lovely private decking area for al fresco dining and barbecues under the stars.
Based on the picturesque Middlemoor Farm, Moonraker is perfectly located to explore the stunning Northumberland Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coastline here is beautiful, ideal for scenic walks and beach days to remember. There are plenty of action-packed adventures to be had, with kayaking and coasteering just a couple of the water sports to try out. The farm is within walking distance to a delightful eatery which serves breakfast and there is a pub just a few minutes away by car. The local countryside offers some of the most epic landscapes and walking trails, so there is not a chance for boredom. Plus, there are plenty of traditional villages and historical sites to discover nearby,
