La Micheline - Former train station, now a luxurious and supremely modern holiday home with gorgeous country views in the Belgian Ardennes
La Micheline is listed in affiliation with Vrbo.
La Micheline is a prestigious and architectural guesthouse in a little former train station with views over the fields. This new house mixes raw materials and big designs. Closed to Namur and Dinant, in the Belgian Ardennes, the house has a picturesque, large garden surrounded by pastures and woods. Spend hours relaxing outside enjoying food from the barbecue or pizza oven, and playing game after game of boules and ping-pong.
The house can accommodate 10-12 people in comfort and style. On the ground floor there are three bedrooms, each with private bathrooms for that extra luxury. In the annexe, which opens with huge windows to the large terrace surrounded by meadows, are the kitchen and a spacious dining area that's ideal for large groups of friends and family.
The kitchen is fully equipped to semi-professional standards and has a gas stove, fridge, Antonio Lampecco Pottery, Nespresso machine, and a B&W music station.
A staircase leads up to the first floor where there is a large, loft-like room with fireplace, and a separate 'open-ceiling' bedroom with private bathroom, bath and WC.
There's also a wooden cabin Couchette located in the garden, complete with a bedroom and bathroom for two to four people sleeping in two bunk beds. The Couchette is 50m from the house making it a great place for teenagers!
The property is surrounded by pastures and forests making it ideal for lovers of the great outdoors. And being located in the Belgian Ardennes, there's plenty of walking to be done.
