The detail

Half Moon Cottage is a beautiful, spacious three bedroom cottage of traditional design. This fab holiday home is just a few minutes' walk from the stunning Camber Sands beach which is ideal for flying kites, making sand castles and spending relaxing family time. With one double bedroom, one twin and one single it's perfect for a family holiday.

The ground floor consists of an open plan kitchen and dining room with everything you could need to prepare a family meal to enjoy at the large dining table. Whilst the cooking area is modern and sleek the rest of the house has been furnished with French antique beach house furniture giving the place a really charming, elegant and cosy feel. There's seaside themed ornaments of lighthouses and pictures of the beach and boats dotted around reminding you of your seaside surroundings.

Across the hall from the kitchen you'll find a light and sunny sitting room with a large flat screen TV and DVD player and a comfy sofa. The room is beautifully decorated and feels like a home from home.

The first floor comprises a large master bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower, WC and basin. Decorated in muted whites and greys with accents of blue it brings the seaside inside and promises a peaceful night's rest. The second bedroom has twin beds and is also beautifully decorated whilst the third room is smaller and contains a single bed, but it is equally lovely and very cosy. There's a family bathroom with a bath and shower combined, a basin and WC.

Outside is a delightful, fully enclosed pebbled garden with a decked patio area complete with table and chairs where you can dine al fresco before collapsing into the large luxury hammock!

Camber Sands beach is a five minute walk away. It's wide, sandy and several miles long, a perfect spot in which to breathe in the exhilarating sea air. As well as swimming, the beach is ideal for flying kites, walking the dog, making sand castles and spending relaxing family time. This wide open space is popular with windsurfers, bathers and horse riders and there is a network of footpaths and cycle routes criss-crossing the nearby nature reserves.

You'll be perfectly positioned to visit nearby Rye with its rich and colourful past, cobbled streets, enchanting church with spectacular views and beautifully preserved buildings with a long history of piracy! A must see for any holiday here in 1066 Country! Locally you'll find plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants to enjoy. From simple pub fare to seafood platters, just ask the owners for any recommendations.
