Located on a working family farm in the Brecon Beacons, Coed Farm is a palatial luxury farmhouse that sleeps 12. With six king-sized bedrooms and three bathrooms, the property is the ideal choice for larger parties hoping to unwind and enjoy the finest scenery and surrounds that the Welsh landscape has to offer.
Blending its authentic features, like period brick walls and exposed oak beams, with modern appliances and tasteful decor, Coed Farm offers guests a sumptuous stay underpinned by an atmosphere of refined yet simple elegance. The property's ample windows let in plenty of natural light and stunning views of the beautiful nearby Brecon Beacons, one of the UK's best-known National Parks.
The property is home to six stately king-sized bedrooms, each with distinct decor and personality. Onsite are also indoor and outdoor cooking facilities (Coed Farm's spacious, fully-equipped kitchen is complemented by the BBQ and enormous wood-fired oven). Enjoy the company of your party from the house's private patio or the gorgeous grounds that the property is nestled within. Or, if you'd like to get in some R&R, you can soak away the stresses of the week in the onsite jacuzzi.
If you're up for a spot of excitement, too, then you're in luck; Coed Farm boasts a huge, comfortable cinema room and games room, complete with dartboard, pool table and board games. With entertainment options to suit guests of all ages, the property makes an especially excellent choice for larger family getaways.
Just beyond the grounds of Coed Farm is some of Wales' most breathtaking scenery. Placed just near the Brecon Beacons, the property makes for an excellent hub to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park, home to some of the UK's most awe-inspiring peaks like the famous Pen y Fan. With hundreds of gorgeous walks, cycle paths and drives to choose from, Coed Farm is a great choice for guests who love exploring the great outdoors.
There's more to the area than mountains, though; Coed Farm is just a few miles away from Hay-on-Wye, a picturesque market town which is home to the world-famous annual Hay-on-Wye literature festival. And, if festivals are your thing, the Brecon Beacons are also the location of the Green Man Festival, one of the UK's premier alternative music events.
