Located in the foothills of the Black Mountains, Black Mountain Bespoke Breaks offers couples a charming, cosy, and comfy place to stay. These romantic pods present breathtaking views of the Welsh countryside and allow you and a loved one to relax in the peace and tranquility of this beautiful part of Wales.
Black Mountain Bespoke Break’s three pods, Cwtch Gwenyn, Dafad Du and Gloyn Byw, reach the heights of comfort. Each boasts views of the rolling hills that surround you allowing you to be at one with your fabulous rural location. The three pods also have either a hot tub (Cwtch Gwenyn and Gloyn Byw) or a roll top tin bath tub (Dafad Du) for added luxury, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxing soak after a day out exploring the hills. When bedtime beckons, enjoy a fab night's sleep in the luxury, king sized beds, and awake to delightful views of your surroundings.
French doors open up onto the great outdoors, where you can sit and warm your toes by the wood burner whilst enjoying a morning coffee or evening tipple. Two of the pods, Cwch Gwenyn and Gloyn Byw even have their own private hot tubs, offering a splash of luxury throughout your stay.
Back inside, each pod has a quaint kitchenette that's nicely equipped with a cooker, Belfast sink, and a fridge (with small freezer section). They also have fully functional bathrooms with plenty of hot water to use during your stay. The pods offer a quintessentially intimate stay, with all three featuring a wood-burning fireplace and underfloor heating for maximum cosiness. Each pod also has WiFi and a smart TV complete with Netflix, meaning movie nights in are a must!
Ideal for nature lovers, the Brecon Beacons National Park offers up an array of exciting outdoor activities, including mountain biking, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, windsurfing and horse riding. Children will delight in a trip to the pony trekking centres, where lessons are offered for riders of all abilities by the likes of Ellesmere Riding Centre, Llangorse Multi Activity Centre and Cantref Riding Centre. Stargazing at the National Park Visitor Centre in Libanus is similarly a must, as in 2021 the Brecon Beacons National Park became the first International Dark Sky Reserve in Wales, offering up stunning views of the Milky Way, distant nebulas and shooting stars.
