Boasting 5,400 square feet of open-plan living space, these carefully restored and lovingly furnished barns are ideal for family reunions or friendly gatherings. You’ll have everything you need for an easygoing visit – there is a games room to keep the big and little kids entertained and a fully equipped kitchen to make self-catering a cinch.
Enter through the Stables’ main entrance and find yourself in the cosy glass-sided sitting room. Settle down on the soft sofa and warm your toes in front of the log-burning stove as you watch your favourite show on the 52-inch Smart TV with a cup of tea. In the kitchen, you’ll have all the utensils and equipment for creating something delicious. There’s even a drinks fridge for keeping a bottle of your favourite tipple chilled. After the plates are cleared, head to the games room, which links the Stables and the Granary, and challenge your loved ones to an air hockey or table football tournament.
There are five comfortable bedrooms in the Stables, each featuring an ensuite or a private bathroom, with robes, spa towels and slippers provided. The king size and super-king size double beds in the first and second bedrooms can be arranged as singles upon request, and the third bedroom is better suited for children due to the restricted headroom. The three bedrooms in the Granary also benefit from ensuites or private bathroom access and flexible sleeping arrangements.
When the sunshine makes an appearance, head into the orchard garden for a picnic. And if you'd like to take the relaxation up a notch, make a beeline for the private hot tub. Should you fancy a change of scenery, discover the three walking routes in the wider grounds. Take the hour’s ramble to Almeley and enjoy a crisp pint at The Bells Inn, or why not jump in the car and drive over to the charming city of Hereford, just 30 minutes away?
Nestled in Herefordshire, flanked by Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Shropshire on one side, and Wales on the other, this region boasts lush green fields, Hereford cattle, and abundant apple orchards. The landscape features rolling countryside, offering picturesque views and wonderful walking opportunities.
If you’re after a day out, the nearby towns of Kington, Leominster, Ludlow and Hereford each provide unique attractions. Or why not stay a bit closer to home and visit the serene rural village of Lyonshall, surrounded by charming timber-framed houses and the pretty farmland?
