Set above the sweeping golden sands of Woolacombe Beach with stunning views out to sea, Tamarisk is the perfect spot for a coastal getaway. Relax out on the terrace, enjoying your meals alfresco while you soak up the beautiful scenery with the sound of the sea in the background. Put your feet up in the bright and airy living spaces or head down to the beach with a picnic and spend the day building sandcastles, surfing the waves or exploring the rugged coastline.

Step inside Tamarisk's elegant brick entryway with wisteria winding its way over the porch and make your way through to the spacious open-plan living room. Natural light floods in through big windows and the doors that lead out to the terrace, showcasing the stunning views of the beach and out to sea. There's a fully equipped kitchen at one end with everything you'll need to whip up delicious meals during your stay and a breakfast bar providing a bit of extra space. To the other end of the living area is a cosy seating area with sofas to curl up on while you play board games in the evenings. The separate dining room has a fantastic bay window that makes the most of those stunning views.

You'll find one of the bedrooms on the ground floor, featuring a luxurious king size bed and an ensuite, ideal for those who don't want to navigate the stairs. Head up to the first floor where you'll find a little spot to relax and read on the landing, as well as some desk space should you need it. The main bedroom features another luxurious king size bed and a window seat overlooking the beach. There's also a beautiful freestanding bath in the ensuite, the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring. You'll love the cosy family suite which has a double bedroom, an adjoining room with twin beds suitable for children and a shared bathroom.

With the famous Woolacombe Beach right on your doorstep and North Devon's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to explore, there's plenty to see and do in the area. Go swimming, surfing or kayaking down at the beach or head to the sheltered Barricane Beach for a quieter scene with some excellent rock pools to explore. Set off along the coastal paths right from the front door for some spectacular coastal views or head inland to Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks. For a chance to spot some seals, head out on a boat trip from Ilfracombe, just a little further north along the coast, and visit the beautiful Lundy Island.
