With relaxed styling at its heart, this boutique cottage is full of wonderful surprises - from a sunken concrete bath to a jaw-dropping fireplace. The interiors are all joyously put together and manage to combine eclectic styling with pure luxury. With underfloor heating and the most striking fireplace, it’s the perfect romantic retreat all year round. And its sustainability credentials are also second to none, with reclaimed materials, fabrics and one-off finds only adding to Spinks Nest Cottage's undeniable beauty.
Inside, the cosy lounge has wonderfully comfortable armchairs positioned perfectly in front of the handsome fireplace. With an Esse woodburner, a well stocked log basket and woollen blankets, it’s a truly welcoming space.
The kitchen has been delightfully put together with reclaimed units, characterful light fittings, and an exposed stone wall all adding to its timeless feel. The open shelving is styled to a magazine-worthy standard - with a perfect balance of rustic crockery, plants and hand-picked one-off pieces. And the addition of a zinc worktop and Smeg appliances gives a luxurious finish. The dining area next to the kitchen is chic and simple - with soft lighting, it’s the ideal spot for a romantic supper.
The bedroom is comfortable with a king size bed, hypoallergenic luxury 9000 spring wool mattress and beautiful textiles from Woolroom. And, of course, the styling is perfection.
The bathroom is glorious, presenting both the traditional and modern in equal measure. The green wood panelling sits delightfully next to the dark grey walls and cement sunken bath. There’s also a shower and luxurious Aesop toiletries to indulge in.
Spinks Nest Cottage is located in the village of Hunworth near the breathtaking North Norfolk coast. Head out to explore the marshes and breathtaking coastline. Take a seal trip from Blakeney Point to see some of the local wildlife. Or, if you’d rather head inland, then you can explore the beautiful wooded countryside of Glaven Valley. And, as with all good boltholes, Spinks Nest Cottage is also fortuitously located just a couple of minutes walk from the village pub, The Hunworth Bell.

WOW, what a complete gem! We stayed at Spinks looking for something incredibly unique and special and Spinks did not disappoint. It was beyond our expectations and we have found one of our favourite places nestled in Norfolk. Everything was so beautiful, from the decor, interiors, vintage touches to the luxury feels and touches. Ana (owner) has clearly worked incredibly hard to make Spinks a stay you’ll remember forever. We are heading back to Spinks in May and we can’t wait. As a couple we love exploring and visiting new places and Spinks is up there as our favourite stay of all. We highly recommend Spinks, a truly special place where you can unwind, switch off, relax, explore, hunker down and head to the Norfolk coast. FIVE STARS!!! and more..

This place is a real 'find'. So original and quirky, so cosy, and smells amazing from the moment you enter. Like a spa, but nicer. All the appliances are high spec. Bed was very comfy and underfloor heating was a treat when jumping out of it. It looks small from the outside, don't let that fool you. For 2 people looking for a romantic and or realxing getaway, this beats any hotel, by far. The wood fire is wonderful after a long day exploring the area, the sunken bath... well, heaven is all I can say. Lovely village, had a great evening at the Hunny Bell joining in with the freindly locals (lovely bar staff too), decent food and fun pub quiz. We did not want to leave! Ana, the owner, lives next door and was around and available but not intrusive in any way. It also felt very private for a property next to the owners home. Just book, you won't be dissapointed! (This is an honest review btw and I have stayed in a lot of rentals).

A huge thank you for the most wonderful couple of nights spent at Spinks Nest, it truly lived up to my expectations and more ????. So beautifully designed and it felt like it kind of wrapped its arms around me, it was so cosy and warm, even in these chilly temperatures I didn’t need to light the fire, the whole place was so toasty. You have thought of every detail and made this tiny cosy nest so welcoming ????. I slept for 10 hours undisturbed both nights, the bed is SO comfortable, I need to know what mattress you have! I feel fully recharged and ready for a busy festive period with our four legged guests, it’s exactly what I needed, Spinks Nest is totally unique and such a special place, thank you ???? Spinks Nest is one of my favourite places I’ve stayed in the U.K. The attention to detail in this beautifully designed cottage is incredible. Every small detail has been carefully considered to make the space feel warm, comfortable and stylish: the underfloor heating, incredibly comfortable bed, cosy armchairs, fully functional kitchen and beautiful, unique bathroom. There is so much to do in the local area that we’ll have to return, but we did manage a couple of delicious meals out and trips to nearby villages, beaches and antique shops. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful, and are located just next door in case you need any assistance. 10/10 stay. Would definitely return!

Spent a very cosy couple of nights at the beautiful Spinks Nest in December— Ana is such a lovely host and everything about our stay made us feel really comfortable and relaxed. The property is really dreamy and every detail is so carefully considered— you can really tell how much love and attention to detail has been poured into this place— it makes it so warm and welcoming. The location is perfect too— it’s the best spot for exploring the North Norfolk coast and surrounding towns and villages. We enjoyed slow mornings listening to the radio with a hot cup of coffee, breakfast pastries from a local bakery & frosty walks through the village, afternoons spent in front of the fire & quiet evenings gazing out at the stars— I really can’t recommend a stay at Spinks Nest enough!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Spinks Nest and we absolutely love it. The cottage is stunning - perfect for a cosy getaway to unwind completely. The location is brilliant, close to the the lovely town of Holt and the beautiful north Norfolk coast. Ana has thought of everything and her recommendations for local places to visit and eat mean your stay will be fantastic. We’ll keep coming back here over and over again.

Be warned! You won’t want to get out of the sunken cement bath (this tops any spa I’ve been to), nor the uber comfortable bed (luxurious wool mattress, cloud-like duvet and super crisp Designers Guild bedding), nor finally the al-fresco feeling of the antique shower. Enjoy, but do force yourself out as the North Norfolk Coast is stunning (as beautiful as the best bits of Cornwall but without the crowds). When you do sadly have to check out, you’ll take many quirky design ideas home with you to extend your memories of Spinks Nest.

It is such a beautifully done little hideaway, really stylish to look at, most comfortable bed ever, and a great location just a short walk from the pub (beware, the helpings are huge!). We were both absolutely blown away by the attention to detail that Ana and Alan had put into the creation of Spinks Nest. On the first evening (in front of the fire, with a complimentary gin and tonic in hand!) we couldn’t stop looking around us at every little detail. It was just perfect and so luxurious. The toiletries smelled wonderful, the bath was amazing and the bed was honestly the most comfortable bed we have stayed in. They have gone above and beyond with this place. The village and surrounding area is beautiful, it’s a shame that the local pub wasn’t open when we were there due to covid restrictions... but we look forward to going when we visit Spinks Nest in the future ;) Thanks again for a wonderful stay. From the moment I saw Spinks Nest on the booking site I knew we were going to love staying there and we did. It is beautifully decorated, full of wonderful Slipware, other pottery and collectables, a wonderfully comfortable bed, handmade kitchen, gorgeous woodburner for relaxing after long walks exploring the amazing Norfolk coast and villages. Everything is thought through to make you feel you are being so well looked after during your stay. Ana is incredibly helpful (and inspirational) and has thought of everything to make your stay perfect. I long to return.

We loved our 3 night stay here. The cottage is small but perfectly formed with everything you could possibly need and more besides (complimentary gin and tonic should be compulsory for any self catering provider). The location is excellent and will be even better when the adjacent building work is completed (it was a little intrusive first thing in the morning). A beautiful cottage, highly recommended.

What an amazing find !! the quality of this small but perfectly laid out cottage is just superb , everything about the place oozes luxury , i booked it for the sunken bath ( a wedding anniversary treat ) and i was not disappointed , what an unusual feature , and of course the log burner , this was just bliss , the cottage has some quirky features , my husband and i spent ages looking around at the many carefully added touches , it clearly shows the love that has been put into this cottage ,i loved the plants thats around the cottage , and the shelf above the bedroom with trinkets , the pots of herbs outside the door , fresh fruit in a bowl on the table , oh and did i mention a tipple for guests to enjoy , a G&T went down a treat after a soak in that bath , and then there is the huge bed , i can honestly say its the comfiest bed i have ever slept in .The cottage itself is in a beautiful village and only a 2 minute walk to a great pub .Our host from the minute i enquired was nothing but super helpful , we didnt encounter any problems but i felt that if i did that she would definitely would be there to sort it out immediately as she is obviously very proud of what they have achieved with spinks , and rightly so !!

This was the 2nd stay here for us, and again lived up to expectations. This time we had the good warmer weather and were able to make use of the table and chairs outside. Views of the stars were amazing, so peaceful with only the sound of the night, Owls, Hedgehogs amongst others. As before Ana was the perfect host, and this time we managed to catch up for a chat. We had family staying locally and they came to see what all the fuss was about, and the reaction from them was superb (potential future customers!). Another visit to the local (Honey Bee) for a superb meal. Cannot recommend this cottage enough, I'm sure we will be back again at some point. Pop into Holt for some luxuries, the food shop and deli is great, lovely cheeses and wines (if that's your thing). Only way to really appreciate is to visit. Great base for visiting the local area, can recommend Holkham Hall for a visit.

We've raved to friends and family about what a perfect stay we had at Spink's Nest this summer. We were totally charmed by the village and enjoyed early evening strolls to the pub for dinner multiple nights. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas, from multiple stunning beaches to forest walks and quaint market towns to visit. A highlight for us was a food truck festival at a nearby stately home. The cottage was always a delight to return to, it smells amazing and everything has been thought of just right from an interior design perspective. Our dog also appreciated the water bowl and treats! Would highly recommend.

WOW what a find this place is, stayed for 3 days as part of my wife's Birthday, Ana, thanks for the flowers lovely touch. This cottage is ideal bolt hole for North Norfolk, bathroom was so relaxing, drinks on arrival, wood burner, Nesspreso machine, the list goes on... everywhere seemed to be with driving distance, a 2 minute walk to the "Hunny Bee" for a meal is well worth it, great service, food. Turn all the lights off on a clear night and sit outside, couldn't believe the stars. In simple terms can't fault this place, great hosts, great stay.... will be back !
