Sustainable energy is all part of the picture and is designed to protect this stunning, natural idyll.

The spellbinding woods are home to two handcrafted treehouses that are beautifully styled with charm and charisma. Built on stilts around the ancient tree trunks, they have an extraordinary layout and a chic, rustic finish. Reclaimed pieces create an artisan –feel, while bunting and fairy lights add to the romantic atmosphere. Tinker Treehouse is small but perfectly formed and has one double bedroom and a treetop balcony. Its boutique design has a captivating allure that each and every guest is destined to fall for. Bright bedding sits atop the comfortable mattress, while leaf-lined trunks head up into the canopy.

Tilia and Quercus were designed and built simultaneously and have the same basic layout, but totally individual character. Tilia is in the main tree house woods and stands the tallest, with a sunny south facing view over the treetops. The open plan living area, can sleep up to six including the mezzanine, but can equally be enjoyed by a couple who want plenty of space for lounging on day beds.

Quercus is tucked away in its own little wood. Its south facing deck is accessed across a treetop bridge where you stand eye to eye with the other residents - the birds and squirrels. The open plan, mezzanine design can sleep up to six, but can be set up as day beds for couples who want a bit of extra space.

Sunrise and Tinker have access to the luxury glamping facilities that can be found back down amongst the flourishing valley. Vintage outdoor bathrooms provide hot water showers and flushing loos, while a garden kitchen is perfect for cooking up a storm. With a pizza oven, fridge and traditional gas burners, the kitchen is well-equipped for al fresco dining.
