Tucked away in a secluded spot within a spacious garden, surrounded by lush green grass and tall trees, this brand new, luxurious cabin has all the ingredients for a peaceful, relaxing getaway for two. Built with natural wood and featuring huge windows to cleverly bring the outdoors in, you’ll really feel like you’ve got away from it all and left the hustle and bustle of everyday life far behind.
The main living area boasts huge glass doors overlooking the well-kept woodland garden to the rolling green hills beyond. This light and airy, welcoming space is flooded with natural daylight and has a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Here you can lounge on one of the perfectly placed leather sofas and soak up the spectacular views while you enjoy a morning coffee and listen to the symphony of birdsong. And on a chilly evening you can fire up the log burner to keep you cosy.
The contemporary kitchen area has been finished to a high spec and is kitted out with all the mod cons you’ll need, including a coffee machine, oven and microwave. Bespoke wooden shelves and low-hanging pendant lights finish off this sleek space, where preparing a meal while enjoying the far reaching views will be a pleasure for even the most reluctant of cooks.
The glass doors from the living area lead you on to the huge, private balcony with its uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside. Here you’ll find a bistro table and chairs set, perfect for alfresco dining or enjoying a sundowner at the end of the day.
When sleep beckons, the restful bedroom offers a comfy king size bed with a fabulous sky light above – perfect for star gazing on a clear night. And in the morning, you can spot an abundance of wildlife before you even get up thanks to the two huge windows at the foot of the bed, overlooking the garden. Keep your eyes peeled for birds, squirrels and pheasants and, if you’re lucky, you may even spy a deer.
When you’re ready to start the day, the spacious bathroom offers the choice of a modern walk-in rain shower or an indulgent, free-standing bath.
While Rowanbank Cabin is a destination in itself, there is plenty to discover in the surrounding area for those who wish to explore. There are some brilliant mountain bike trails nearby, a choice of golf courses and great opportunities for hill walking. Or for something a little livelier, the cosmopolitan, coastal city of Dundee, with its diverse range of cafes, bars and restaurants, independent shops and art galleries, is less than 10 miles away.
