Your own secret hideaway, Off The Track is nestled beside a pretty sandstone railway bridge in Fife’s scenic countryside. This unique, tranquil location is ideal for couples looking for a relaxing weekend away, where you can switch off and reconnect with nature. The property itself is a cosy lodge, beautifully designed and equipped with all the modern facilities you could need for a comfortable stay. To complete the romantic experience, guests can spend intimate evenings sipping champagne from the Scandinavian wood-fired hot tub, which the hosts will ensure is piping hot and ready for your arrival.
The lodge has been created by a husband and wife construction and interior design team, who took extra care to ensure the property is as friendly to the environment as possible. The open plan interior is surprisingly spacious and has a clean, modern feel. At one end is a bespoke, king size bed with super soft 500-count Egyptian cotton bedding, all but ensuring a good night’s sleep. A large window opposite the bed lets you enjoy the gorgeous vistas, whilst blackout blinds allow a well-earned lie in come the morning. You’ll also have an ensuite with a rainfall shower, where luxurious Highland Soap Co. toiletries and fluffy towels are provided.
At the other end of the lodge, you’ll find the living area. Here guests can snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of the log burning stove, which keeps the home warm throughout the year. Across from the living space is a kitchen, fully equipped with premium Smeg appliances and all the cooking basics you could need to whip up a delicious meal. This part of the UK is known for its wonderful produce, so why not visit the nearby farm shop to stock up on supplies, or have them delivered directly to your door? Glass doors lead out to a large decked area with outdoor seating, the perfect place to soak up the surroundings.
Whether you’re seeking adventure or you're after something slower paced, you’ll be spoilt for choice with things to do in the surrounding area. The lodge is situated on a footpath that leads to the famous Fife Coastal Path, where you can enjoy miles of uninterrupted coastline and spectacular views. Kingsbarns Beach is also right on your doorstep, a glorious sandy beach backed by low grassy dunes. Crail and St. Andrews are both within easy reach, offering everything from independent shops and award-winning eateries to world renowned golf courses.
