Perched in a small valley that is overlooked by picturesque open hillside fields and wooded copses, Offa’s Pitch, is far from towns and cities, meaning you can immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Great British countryside. Once you step inside this lodge, which blends nicely with its surroundings, you will be taken aback. Elegant finishings and retro additions give Offa’s Pitch its wow factor, as does the fabulous hand made kitchen, complete with pyrolytic oven, induction hob, refrigerator with icebox and dishwasher. The open plan living space, complete with designer furniture and a wonderful comfy bed is fantastic, and has wooden floors and lovely wooden framework around whitewashed walls, that give the place a bright, airy feel. Gaze out of the glass windows and all you can see is pure uninterrupted countryside. Dine on your own private terrace gazing out over the hillsides that surround you, as the brook trickles by.
In spring venture out in the green countryside and spot newly born animals playing in the grass. Come winter, when the ground is frosty and the crisp skies clear, wrap up warm and head for a stroll around Blakeridge Wood as your breath makes brief clouds in the air.
