Set on a traditional Welsh farm at the foot of Beacon Hill, sits Beacon View Pod. This charming cabin for two offers guests a luxurious stay in the county of Powys, with unrivalled vistas of the undulating countryside. The family run farmstead houses numerous animals, so do feel free to say hello. And for those clear evenings, why not kick back and enjoy the scenery from the comfort of your very own hot tub? Whether you're looking for a relaxing escape away from the rat race of city life or seeking a base from which to explore the greater mid-Wales and border region, this farmyard gem is sure to meet your every need.
Newly built, the pod is constructed of the finest timber, ensuring a seamless blend with the local terrain. The open planned living area contains a two-seater couch which sits in front of a cosy wood burner, while the adjacent sleeping area houses a double bed. On the other side of the cabin sits the kitchenette area and breakfast bar. The bathroom has a WC, basin and walk in shower. Step out through the floor to ceiling folding patio doors and onto the spacious decking area. Here, you can sit around the BBQ and firepit, relax at the table and chairs, or soak in the views from your very own private hot tub.
The area is a nature lover's dream, with numerous walking trails near the farm to enjoy. Glyndwr's Way, Kerry Ridgeway, and Jack Mytton Way are all great options. The nearby ancient Offa's Dyke also offers tremendous views of the surrounding area, while the Shropshire Hills AONB is just a few miles away. If you fancy a tipple, then the village of Felindre is two miles from the farm and houses its own local pub. In Beguildy, another charming Welsh village, you will find The Radnorshire Arms, serving local ales and traditional fare. Should you wish to venture further afield then the greater mid-Wales and border area is home to plenty of lovely towns and villages such as Knighton, Llandrindod Wells, Ludlow, and Welshpool - home to Powsy Castle.
