The Forager’s Cabin offers couples a break in tranquil forest surroundings. At the end of the woods, there’s a specially made sundowner area, with seating in front of stunning hillside views where you can sit in perfect peace as the ice rattles in your glass and test your outdoor cooking skills on the firebowl and grill.
Inside, the cabin has been handcrafted using reclaimed materials that provide earthy textures and rich tones. These combine with the nature-inspired art and the cosy furnishings to create a calming, peaceful space to unwind and disconnect from your everyday life. The living area features a woodburner and a huge circular window that perfectly frames the woodland view. It also has a cosy snuggle sofa and a comfy armchair where you can sit taking in the view whilst enjoying a good book borrowed from the cabin’s mini library.
The fully equipped kitchen has a four ring gas hob, a proper oven and a dishwasher ensuring no one’s lumbered with the washing up. Prepare a delicious feast here and enjoy it on the bistro dining table for two or alfresco in the outdoor dining area. The ice box in the fridge means you can still knock up your favourite cocktail or G&T.
Outside there are two decks. The deck in front of the cabin looks towards the woods and is equipped with a BBQ, a a table and chairs for mealtimes and some big wooden chairs where you can sit with a drink and enjoy the view. The second deck is tucked away in the trees in a secluded spot and is home to the candle lit hot tub, where you can soak those tired limbs are your adventures.
Back inside, when bedtime beckons, you’ll love the incredibly comfy super-king size bed. As you drift off to sleep all you will hear are the sound of owls and with zero light pollution you are in for a deep restorative sleep. When you wake up after a good night’s sleep you can start the day in the luxurious walk-in shower making use of the Faith in Nature eco-toiletries provided.
