Designed for couples or solo travellers seeking peace and perspective, head to this modern hideaway and unwind in the stillness that surrounds you.
Thanks to its incredible position in stunning natural surroundings, you can step out and enjoy scenic walks right from your doorstep. And when you arrive back, you can relax in the cabin that blends Scandinavian simplicity with Highland warmth. The cabin has clean lines, pale timber and eco-conscious touches throughout.
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a thoughtful welcome basket filled with locally sourced treats. You’ll also have milk for your morning brew and a bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling wine to toast your stay.
Head to the open-plan living area where a wood-burning stove and underfloor heating keeps things toasty and warm on cooler days. However, when the sun is shining, a large patio door opens up onto your private covered deck, where you can soak in the views of the loch and the mountains beyond.
The lounge features a comfy sofa and there’s also a collection of maps and guides available for you to browse. You also have a pair of binoculars for a closer look at local wildlife, and a Bluetooth speaker helps set the perfect mood.
The kitchen and dining space is modern, warm and fully equipped for everything from lazy breakfasts to evening meals. There’s an electric oven, induction hob with extractor, a large fridge with separate freezer, microwave, dishwasher (with tablets provided), kettle, toaster and a Nespresso machine with pods.
When night falls, the bedroom offers a peaceful space for a perfect night’s sleep with a super-comfy king size bed with high-quality cotton bedding and non-feather pillows. Cotton bathrobes and complimentary slippers add a luxurious touch, and the views to the surrounding woodland and hillside are a tranquil delight.
Before bed, head to the spa-like shower room, with a large walk-in shower and rainfall head, along with underfloor heating and an electric heated towel rail. Fluffy towels and toiletries are provided, along with a heated mirror and shaver point to make mornings easy.
The cabin is set on a peaceful two-acre croft just six miles off the NC500, Birch Grove Cabin is perfectly placed for exploring the wild beauty of the northwest Highlands. From the doorstep, enjoy scenic low-level coastal walks, with more challenging hikes and iconic Munros like Beinn Alligin, Liathach and Beinn Eighe just a short drive away.
The area is a dream for outdoor lovers, offering mountain biking, kayaking on Loch Torridon and unforgettable mountain adventures with local guides. Or simply relax with a book, game or jigsaw whilst watching the shifting light play across the loch.
