This beautifully designed property is clad in Siberian larch wood and offers amazing sea views. Spend your days wandering the rugged shoreline of Loch Snizzort and exploring Skye, before retiring back to your cosy home, throwing some logs on the woodburner and relaxing with a delicious drink.
Rowan Cottage sleeps two guests in one super-comfy bedroom, making it an ideal location for a romantic Scottish retreat on the fabulous Isle of Skye.
Inside, you have a sociable open-plan living space that features a comfy sofa and chair sitting around the fireplace. Here you can relax with a glass of wine whilst gazing at the incredible views or enjoy a movie night or box set marathon on the 55 inch smart TV that is complete with a Sky TV package. You also have a range of books to peruse and some binoculars, should you wish to spot seabirds soaring above the water.
The living space also features a quaint kitchenette that has plenty of modern amenities, allowing you to prepare hearty breakfasts and delicious meals throughout your stay. The kitchen has an induction hob, a microwave oven, a washer-dryer and a fridge-freezer. There’s also a dishwasher, so no one gets lumbered with the washing up. You even have a Nespresso coffee machine, so you can enjoy a delicious morning coffee whilst enjoying the view on your private patio.
Rowan Cottage also has a modern, luxurious bathroom that features a big rainfall shower and a bathtub for indulgent soaks. Bathrobes and slippers are provided for added comfort. We had a great time at Rowan Cottage. We could have not asked for more, a light and spacious lounge and dining area, a walk-in shower, and a bedroom with a great view across the loch. This was one of the best cottages we have stayed in, and a credit to the host.
