These modern and luxurious cabins were created by award-winning architects Dualchas with interior design by BoConcept. Elegant, pared back and beautifully laid out, these properties would be perfect for couples seeking a stylish getaway with breathtaking views, big skies and direct access to the beach.
Both properties are similar in layout and have full length picture windows in both the bedroom and living areas to the front of the cabins to allow a constant view of the ever changing sky and sea.
The living area is open plan with a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook up the catch of the day and enjoy it with some chilled wine at the round dining table with its glorious view.
In the evening you can cosy up on the sofa, get the wood burner going and enjoy a movie with snacks in utter peace. A stylish leather recliner provides an excellent spot for an afternoon of reading with a mug of tea, the view ever present.
Both cabins have a modern seamless and timeless style with an oak-clad interior creating a sense of warmth and simplicity. And both have won design excellence awards in 2022 and 2023.
When it's time for bed you'll be delighted by the large cosy bed facing the sea with the night sky twinkling as you doze off. When you wake in the morning simply slide open the glass doors and allow the sea air to serenade you.
Enjoy a long hot shower before padding through to make your morning coffee which you can enjoy out on the deck with views over the Sound of Sleat. Or you might enjoy a little dip in the sea to get you started. If not, wander down anyway and introduce yourself to the otters, sea eagles and dolphins.
You'll be living on a beautifully maintained and working croft garden and polytunnel, and where possible the hosts can provide a small selection of seasonal produce for you to enjoy.
Spend the day exploring the wonderful natural beauty of the area and when you get peckish you can head up to Eilean Iarmain, a hotel with a wonderful restaurant only a short 10 minutes away by foot. Other nearby places to dine include Duisdale Hotel and Kinloch Lodge. So if you don't feel like cooking there's plenty of options.
If you want to explore further afield you'll be a 15-minute drive from Armadale ferry port and Skye Bridge, a perfect base from which to head out on an adventure. And at the end of the day you can head back to your cosy cabin, open a bottle and watch the sea and the sky put on its daily show for you.
