Tucked into the rolling hills of the Derbyshire Dales, on the edge of Wirksworth, 3Trees Glamping is home to four beautifully crafted cabins, each with its own character. Whether you’re looking for a cosy couple’s hideaway or a family-friendly base for exploring the Peak District, these pods can be booked individually, giving you flexibility to choose the one that suits you best – or to hire more than one if travelling with friends.
The Apple Tree Pod blends rustic warmth with modern comforts, offering a double sofa bed and a quirky mezzanine accessed by a tree trunk spiral staircase – a fun sleeping space for kids or a tucked-away nook for couples. With a patio, chimenea-style firepit and BBQ, it’s a cabin that invites you to enjoy both inside and out.
Birch Tree Pod has a charming, quirky edge, with a hand-painted dining table, cosy double bed and mezzanine sleeping above. Its deck and private grassed area, complete with firepit and BBQ, make it perfect for relaxed evenings under the stars.
Cherry Tree Pod offers a calm, Scandi-inspired aesthetic, designed for easy-going stays. It features a double bed alongside built-in bunks, making it especially family-friendly. The raised deck, firepit and gravelled seating area extend the living space outdoors, with views across the surrounding countryside.
Damson Pod is light, spacious and thoughtfully equipped, with a double bed and bunks, plus little extras like an ironing board, hairdryer and toothbrush charger. Its outdoor space includes a deck, picnic bench, BBQ and firepit, with plenty of room for everyone to gather.
All four cabins are fully equipped with compact kitchens (fridge, hotplate, microwave, kettle and toaster), ensuite showers, Smart TVs, WiFi, heating and USB charging points. Bed linen and towels are provided, so you can pack light and settle straight in. Each has its own private outdoor area, but the site also includes a safe, fenced play field for children and easy access to walking trails leading directly into the countryside.
The beauty of 3Trees Glamping is that you can choose the pod that fits your needs, or mix and match by booking more than one if you’re coming as a group. You can even hire the whole site if you want to enjoy a big group getaway!
When it’s time to explore, footpaths lead straight from the gate into open countryside, with Carsington Water, Matlock and the wider Peak District within easy reach. Or simply stroll into Wirksworth – known as the ‘Gem of the Peak’ – with its independent shops, pubs and restaurants. A wide range of outdoor activities surround the site, from e-bike hire, cycling trails and guided walks to fishing, water sports and adventures at Carsington Water, with routes and tours leading straight into the heart of the Peak District.
