Follow the medieval labyrinth of paths up to the highest point in Santorini and you’ll discover this magical Greek village known as Pyrgos Kallistis. Hidden away from the bustle of the main tourist trail, it is a traditional Cyclades fortress settlement that has breath-taking views out to sea.
Set back from the characterful cobbled streets and with a magnificent hillside position, Villa Fabrica has a divine spot within this heavenly location. Watch as the warm island sun sets beneath the clear blue waters and you’ll soon fall in love with this luxurious Aegean wonder.
The distinctive villa has a charming whitewashed façade which epitomises the very best of historic Greek architecture. Clean lines and thick walls home quaint shuttered windows, while stone steps guide you to hidden roof terraces. Once used as a local winery and working corn mill, the villa has now been completely refurbished with minimalist interiors. Large pieces of machinery feature in recognition of its factory days, while its high ceilings and natural light add a modern-day feel.
The exclusive accommodation is split into four separate units which can be rented individually or in sets for larger group occasions. Each of the units has a contemporary style with pure white walls, neutral furnishings and kitchen facilities. The Katoy accommodation is the largest of the four and can be found on level one of this three floor extravaganza. With its own private Jacuzzi and al fresco dining area, it offers tranquil living arrangements for groups of up to seven.
The Milos, Canava and Katikia units are all on level two and have shared access to the elegant pool terrace with its captivating evening sunsets. Sleeping up to five, six and three people respectively, they have loft-style, open plan living spaces and sumptuous double bedrooms. Additional shared facilities can also be found around the villa, including a large kitchen and al fresco dining area.
Santorini is a picturesque island that combines sparkling blue waters with striking volcanic rock faces. Visit the beautiful capital of Fira or the majestic village of Athinios, before discovering the stunning red beach of Kokkini Paralia. If you don’t want to travel far then the peaceful village of Pyrgos Kallistis offers an authentic island experience. Head to the top of the hill to see the ruins of the ancient Kasteli Castle, or explore the narrow streets and secret passageways which lead to pristine whitewashed churches.
