As the sun sets over the island of Santorini, the pretty little Windmill Villas turn a warm shade of pastel pink, reflecting the flashes of magenta and coral that ignite the sky. Their sails turn gently in the wind, passing over the cosily illuminated windows which are reflected in the pool. Santorini Windmills are a romantic idyll perfect for anyone who wishes for peace and tranquillity in their own slice of paradise.
Inside, the round rooms are decorated in a shabby-chic country style, with pastels adding a splash of colour and reflecting the names of each villa (Green, Lilac and Blue Windmill). Each windmill has two bedrooms, one sleeps two, the other three and both have en suites. Outside you can take in glorious sea and vineyard views, as you relax on the cushioned seating area, or one of the many comfy loungers. With their pretty location and unique charm the windmill Villas are truly exceptional places to take a holiday.
Santorini is a unique and wonderful island; crescent in shape and situated around a volcanic peak that protrudes from the sea, it is the sunset capital of Greece. The towns of Fira and Oia are sunning towns with sugar cube buildings perch on the Cliffside. Wander down the winding streets, past the sugar cube buildings highlighted with vivid pink bougainvillea, and browse the pretty boutiques, or visit a Cliffside restaurant in Fira and dine whilst the sun sets over the caldera. Alternatively, take the cable car (or a donkey ride- not for the faint hearted...) down to the harbour and hop on a boat to visit the dormant volcano.
