This gorgeous cottage has a lot going for it, with contemporary country styling and an enviable location on the edge of a 1000 acre deer park - and just a few miles from the north Norfolk coast. Situated in a village, it’s an easy amble to the local renowned gastropub, The Gunton Arms. And back home you can relax in style - with fabulous design sitting elegantly next to the cottage’s wonderfully historic features including oak beamed ceilings, beautiful flooring and leaded windows.
The interiors are exquisitely put together, with Farrow and Ball paint colours gracing the walls and woodwork, unique artwork and designer British fabrics throughout - it manages to be wonderfully chic whilst still feeling effortlessly relaxed. In the lounge there’s an impressive brick fireplace, plush velvet sofas and a pretty window seat. And at the heart of this lovely room sits a handsome wood burning stove complete with a well-stocked log basket.
The kitchen is stunning - with a tiled floor, impressive oak beamed ceiling and beautifully hand painted units. It’s not style over substance here though, and the inner workings of the kitchen prove to be just as impressive, with a Bertazonni double oven, American fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There’s also a lovely dining table happily nestled between the kitchen and the pretty leaded window.
Upstairs there are two king-size double bedrooms and a single room. All the rooms are impeccably styled with painted floorboards, luxury linens and gorgeous textiles. The Master benefits from an ensuite with a stylish walk-in shower. There’s also a luxurious family bathroom that boasts superb parquet flooring, an elegant freestanding bath and a large walk-in shower.
Outside there is a pretty south-west facing garden and patio with garden furniture. It’s the ideal spot to relax with a good book or perhaps a glass of wine.
The area is stunning. Located in the village of Suffield you are gloriously located on the edge of the Gunton Estate, close to the Victorian seaside resort of Cromer, the stunning Norfolk Broads and two large National Trust estates.
