The Space at Milestone House

The Space at Milestone House sits to the rear of the main house and has its own entrance and courtyard for added privacy. A modern, contemporary holiday home, The Space, makes use of ply walls, stylish furnishings, and plenty of natural light to offer you a delightful spot for your next rural retreat.

In summer use this as a base from which to explore the marvellous county of Norfolk or spend time relaxing outdoors on your private deck. And come winter, stay warm and cosy inside thanks to the log burner and underfloor heating.

The main living area at The Space features comfy sofas that sit around the log burner, and it also has a TV and sliding doors out onto the deck. The modern and stylish kitchen shares this space, and has everything you need to cook delicious dinners for you and your loved ones. The kitchen has a gas hob and oven, a fridge/freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher so no one ends up lumped with the dishes. There’s also a washing machine, so you can give your clothes a nice wash after a day out rambling.

There are two super-comfy bedrooms in The Space. The first is the master bedroom, which has a king sized bed, with Egyptian cotton bedding, as well as garden views and its own en suite bathroom. The second bedroom is a double, which also has a comfy bed and luxurious bedding, as well as its own en suite and a ladder up to the mezzanine, where there’s a cute snug area that’s ideal for some peace and quiet. Outside you have a private courtyard and deck area, which is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or dine al fresco in the summer months.

When it comes to venturing out, you have plenty of things to see and do. Firstly, this part of Norfolk has plenty of charming cafes, wonderful restaurants, and fabulous pubs. Norfolk is also an amazing holiday option for lovers of the great outdoors thanks to its big landscapes, huge skies, and varied terrain. Wander through salt marshes, twisting creeks, and giant sandy beaches, and escape the buzz of daily life in style. Walking, bird watching, sailing, and cycling are all options, so there really is something for everyone.

There are plenty of National Trust properties near to The Space, as well as the marvellous estates of Holkham and Houghton. However, guests are also encouraged to visit the hidden gems of Stody and Heydon that are both nearby. Holt, Sheringham, Wells-next-the-Sea and Burnham Market are all also well worth a visit, and the city of Norwich is also just a 45 minute drive away.
