Explore the mountains of Snowdonia and the beaches of Anglesey using these delightful shepherds huts as your luxurious base. These charming huts, with their little chimneys puffing clouds of smoke, attractive timber and tin exteriors and 'gypsy caravan' woodwork detail, will enchant visitors from the moment they arrive.
Sitting in private grounds, on grassy pastures with panoramic views of the Welsh countryside, these four huts offer visitors a fabulous glamping experience. Each hut has its own private bbq hut a stone's throw away, and both have been furnished and decorated more in the style of boutique hotels than wooden huts. Each has a bespoke interior decor, Carlwm is filled with liberty prints, an iron bedstead and sunny yellows; Codwm is filled with soft textures and pale pinks; Braint enchants with its soft greens and pinks, potted plants and fairy lights; while in Cwt Bugail the beauty and texture of the timbers is the theme.
Whilst the decor may vary, the quality and attention to detail remains consistent. Each has homely touches, such as a seating areas with velvet sofas and comfy armchairs, plants, soft rugs and vases, and each has a cosy wood burner to create a romantic atmosphere, as well as ensuring the hut is warm and welcoming whatever the weather.
After a day exploring the beaches and hiking trails of the island, settle in around the huge fire pit in the bbq hut. Benches covered in soft cushions and throws sit around the edges and guests can relax, cook dinner, enjoy drinks and share tales around the flickering flames. Freshly cut ferns and fir cones weave across the ceiling with pretty fairy lights entwined, creating a magical atmosphere all year round.
The huts are no more than a minute's dash to the luxurious toilets and shower rooms. Complimentary toiletries are provided for guests to luxuriate in before wrapping themselves in large fluffy bath towels and slipping into bathrobes which are also provided. The shower room boasts Hollywood mirrors, hair straighteners and hairdryers, ensuring the glam in the glamping is permanently maintained.
The surrounding area is full of places to explore and discover. The huts are located on a quiet site on the outskirts of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll and is short drive from the magnificent North Wales hills. As well as hiking, biking and wild swimming, thrill seekers will love the mile long zip wire over Penrhyn Quarry. Afterwards, enjoy a stiff drink and some good food at The Liverpool Arms at Menai Bridge or a cold Sauvignon and seafood at Dylan's, also in Menai Bridge.
