With names inspired by Llywelyn the Great, King of Gwynedd and ruler of Wales, the Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts are a collection of gems just minutes from the quaint seaside town of Pwllheli, North Wales. Located just beside a lake, guests can choose from Elen, Margaret, Angharad, Joan or Susanna: at Brook Cottage, there’s something for everyone.
Each and every member of the Brook Cottage family is furnished with a fully working kitchen, including an oven with a two-ring hob, fridge freezer and a baby Belfast sink. Guests also have access to a wood-burning stove complete with logs, which means they can stay nice and cosy all year round. Each hut also has a compact, comfortable double bed and an ensuite shower room complete with shower, flushing toilet and a hand basin.
When you step outside you can sit and stay toasty around the fire pit/BBQ that comes with a complimentary bag of logs for the first night. There's also tables and chairs both inside and out, perfect for year-round tranquillity under the stars or by the fire. Each hut is accompanied with everything necessary for a relaxing stay, including towels and bed linen, complimentary eco-friendly fair trade teas, coffee, hot chocolate and sugar and all the cooking utensils you may need. There is also a towel radiator and an Ariston 30L rapid heat water heater for added cosiness, whilst an Anker SoundCore Mini Bluetooth Speaker and Radio mean you can get the tunes going whilst you cook.
Located minutes away from the charming seaside town of Pwllheli, the Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts wield the potential for great adventure. Perfect for nature dwellers, the Pwllheli Beach, Llyn Coastal Path, Traeth Penllech and Llanbedrog Beach are all a must. If it’s a slice of history you’re after, why not amble on down to Welsh manor house Plas yn Rhiw, the Penarth Fawr Medieval House or the Pwllheli War Memorial, or indulge in some culture at the Plas Glyn y Weddw or Oriel Tonnau art galleries?
Alternatively, the Snowdonia National Park is just over half an hour away by car, offering up an array of activities including the Zip World Forest, National Slate Museum, Snowdon Mountain Railway, and the Llanberis Lake Railway. Points of natural beauty include, of course, Mount Snowdon, the Dolgoch Falls, Cader Idris, Swallow Falls, and Electric Mountain.

This includes the costs of any services provided to you before cancellation, the unavoidable expenses we will incur and our direct loss of profit (including the value of your Booking Period and likelihood of us being able to rebook your cancelled Booking).
