Consisting of six luxurious, super-stylish apartments, Oternia offers couples the pinnacle of rest and relaxation in a gorgeous, natural setting. You never feel far from nature thanks to the fabulous use of sustainable elements, from the clay plaster and stone to the solid wood furniture and the eco-friendly accessories. Depending on your suite you can sit and gaze out of the window at a variety of spectacular scenes. Enjoy your morning coffee as you watch the quaint village below, or sit on your terrace in the afternoon sunshine looking up at Podcetrtek Castle.

The amazing apartments themselves are full of everything you need for an enjoyable and super-comfortable stay. Enjoy a great night’s sleep in a king sized bed with all natural linen, or sit with your loved one on a soft sofa surrounded by lovely hand-made decorative items created by Slovenian designers. Each apartment has its own terrace with tables and chairs, meaning you have the perfect spot to sit in the the morning sunshine breathing in the fresh countryside air.

Each apartment also has a quaint, fully equipped kitchen with a cooker, oven and fridge, as well as its own dining area for you to sit and enjoy dinner. You also have access to nice big luxury glass showers, that come stocked with premium, certified organic, natural cosmetics.

Thanks to its idyllic surroundings, guests can venture out and explore to their heart’s content. With pretty mountain roads winding through the surrounding hills, there are plenty of cycling and walking routes to be enjoyed. Guests at Ortenia can also make the most of bike rental, making it even easier to head out on an adventure. Two highly recommended routes are the Slomšek Trail and the E7 European Path. If wheels aren’t your thing, then why not have a go at some riding lessons and weave your way among the surrounding farms on horseback?

As well as being able to enjoy the natural surroundings, you should also take the chance to explore the cultural heritage of Kozjansko. Couples will also be pleased to know that there are a number of wellness centres and spas in the vicinity and guests at Ortenia are able to get special discounts at the Terme Olimia Spa.
