With a variety of marvellous sleeping options available, Lakeside Petzen Glamping is a wonderful glamping site that sits in an idyllic landscape of mountains and lakes in Austria. The nation’s first glamping site, this spot offers luxury accommodation, and an impressive location on the edge of a wonderful lake.
Guests can choose between three accommodation options. You may wish to opt for a super-comfy glamping tent, or you could choose a chalet, which offers a bit more space and comfort. There are eight tents and seven chalets in total. Or, you may also decide to stay in one of the three comfy tree tents.
The glamping tents are available in two different sizes (two to six people) which means they can suit different numbers of guests. They each have Venyl floors, opening windows, and a fully equipped bathroom and kitchen inside. They also come with their own dining areas and outdoor terraces, meaning you can sit outside and enjoy the summer sunshine all day long.
The chalets are larger and offer even more space and comfort. They sleep up to six guests and come with a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a large living area, and their own partially covered terrace offering yet more outdoor space in which to relax.
And finally, the tree tents sleep up to four guests each, in two double beds. The beds are situated in their own sleeping area within the tent. Guests can also expect generous kitchen and bathroom facilities, super-comfy beds, and high-quality furnishings. They also have terraces that are perfect for watching the sun rise and set over the mountains as you sip your evening drink. The Tree Tents even come with their very own first-floor terrace that faces Petzen Mountain and the Pirkdorfer Lake offering another fantastic spot to sit and enjoy the view.
All of the property options offer sleek, modern design, with super comfy furnishings. They also make use of gorgeous wood, lovely textiles, and have been built to make best use of your incredible surroundings.
Culinary experiences in a cozy atmosphere are offered in the Pirkdorfer See restaurant which is located on-site. Guests can enjoy regional cuisine in the lakeside restaurant which has a lovely large lake terrace. You can choose between daily changing menus or a la carte dishes!
When it comes to keeping yourself occupied the possibilities are endless. You may wish to spend time playing games, reading and socialising with your loved ones on your own private terrace or down by the water’s edge, however, there are a number of other activities available. You have access to the lake, where you can head out on a pedal boat or enjoy a swim. The more adventure hungry of you might want to go out mountain biking - there are lots of trails and routes in the area! You can also enjoy a variety of hiking trails, and come the winter there are a number of great spots for skiing nearby. This area is an ideal spot for outdoors enthusiasts.
