The Details

Nestled on the banks of the River Ardle in the charming village of Bridge of Cally, Glenardle Lodge is a luxurious modern retreat surrounded by the rolling hills and woodlands of rural Perthshire. Designed with space, comfort and connection in mind, this beautiful five-bedroom lodge sleeps up to 10 guests and provides the perfect escape for families, friends and groups looking to unwind in style.

Step inside and feel immediately at home in the vast open-plan living area, where full-height windows flood the space with natural light and frame the forest beyond. The lounge, complete with a cosy wood-burning stove and even a grand piano, invites lazy evenings by the fire or lively gatherings with your nearest and dearest. The modern kitchen is a dream for food lovers, featuring an island breakfast bar, induction hob, double oven and Nespresso machines - ideal for preparing feasts to share around the 12-seater dining table.

Upstairs, five spacious double bedrooms promise restful nights, four with king size beds and one that can be arranged as a super-king size or twin. Two have sleek ensuite shower rooms for added privacy, while a large family bathroom and an additional shower room on the ground floor ensure there’s plenty of space for everyone. For added flexibility, the snug offers an extra sofa bed, perfect for children or extra guests. Every detail has been considered, from soft linens and fluffy towels to warm wood finishes that create a peaceful, homely atmosphere throughout.

Outside, the large enclosed garden is a tranquil sanctuary filled with mature pines and visiting red squirrels. A sun-facing terrace is home to a six-person hot tub where you can soak under the stars, or gather for alfresco dining around the Weber BBQ as the river murmurs below. With its combination of privacy and open space, Glenardle Lodge is the ultimate place to unwind, recharge and reconnect with nature.

Beyond the garden, walking trails lead straight into the woods and along the Cateran Trail. The ski slopes of Glenshee are a short drive away, and golf lovers will find several renowned courses within easy reach. Whether you’re here for a quiet weekend, a special celebration or an adventure-filled holiday, Glenardle Lodge offers the perfect balance of modern luxury and natural serenity.
