Drive up the gravel approach and set your eyes on the beautiful Bullocks Farm House. The lush lawns, mature trees and ancient brickwork set the stage for a fantastic break with family and friends. As you enter the grand 300-year-old building, your eyes are immediately drawn to the exposed wooden beams, historic brickwork and classic countryside styling. Huge fireplaces, low ceilings and dark wooden hues create an inviting bolthole. With space for up to 13 people across six bedrooms, there’s space for the whole family or for large groups of friends to relax and unwind in the stunning Chiltern Hills.
Bullocks Farm House is built for socialising and entertaining. The grand dining room seats the whole party and is great for spending an evening eating great food, drinking fine wine and reconnecting with loved ones. The huge, fully-equipped farmhouse-style kitchen has everything you need to create a feast, whether it’s a hearty evening meal after a long day, or a big breakfast to set you up for a day of exploring. For entertaining, there are two lounge areas, one with a bar and seating that overlooks the garden, and another featuring a large TV, comfy sofas and low ceilings for an ultra-cosy feel.
In the warmer months, spend time in the beautiful gardens. There’s space for kids to run around and for adults to relax surrounded by beautiful countryside. In the evenings, dine alfresco as the sun goes down. In colder times, there’s nothing quite like a roaring fireplace to gather around as the dark draws in and you settle down for a cosy evening. When it’s time to head to bed, there is no shortage of options. The main bedrooms all feature king size beds with hypoallergenic luxury bedding to drift off under, and ensuite bathrooms with deep baths to soak in and showers to refresh. The remaining rooms feature multiple single beds and shared bathrooms.
Nestled in the rolling Chiltern Hills AONB, Bullocks Farm House is less than two hours from London and offers a fantastic countryside escape. The Chilterns are made for exploring, with a range of walks and bike rides to suit everyone, and picturesque villages to stop for a bite to eat. Piddington, Cadmore End and Lane End offer artisan cafes and traditional pubs, while no visit to the Chilterns would be complete without a visit to Turville. This stunning village has gone by many names on film and TV screens but is perhaps best known as the village of Dibley from the hit BBC sitcom. Further afield, the bustling town of High Wycombe offers independent shops, museums and galleries, and a plethora of cafes, pubs and restaurants.
