Perched on a large footprint in the green and pleasant Oxfordshire countryside, Hayward House is a large red brick detached house, newly built and available for parties of up to 14 guests looking for a self-catering space in the country. Within easy driving distance of Henley-on-Thames, and close to a picturesque and charming English village, Hayward House is ideal for large families, wedding parties, or groups of friends looking to spend time in a quintessentially English area without compromising on luxury or comfort. And with its own private hot tub outside, you can enjoy an added slice of luxury throughout your stay.
As you enter the formidable property, you'll find yourself in a large entrance hall, with two living room spaces and the open plan kitchen and dining space leading off this area. The first living room benefits from two large sofas, one of which pulls out into a bed, as well as two comfy armchairs, all facing a Smart TV. The other living room also features a Smart TV, as well as a U-shaped sofa, and direct access out onto the patio.
The kitchen is a real treat for keen home cooks, with top of the line culinary amenities including an induction hob, a double oven, American style fridge-freezer and a coffee machine. Directly behind the breakfast bar you'll find the dining table, meaning guests have the choice between a more casual set up or a more formal meal space. From this open plan area, you can talk directly out onto the patio and into the garden, where you can take advantage of the long evening light by dining outside. The first bedroom is also on this level, benefitting from a large bay window and sofa, as well as a king sized bed.
Upstairs, you'll find five more bedrooms, two with super king sized beds, two with twin singles, and the fifth with a king sized bed. As well as enviable views of the rolling Oxfordshire countryside, two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and two have their own Smart TVs. Each of the rooms is decorated with the same low-key, subtle decor which characterises the house, emphasising neutral tones, subtle elegance, and judicious decoration. The property benefits from a fantastic fenced-off garden, which make the house particularly appealing for the parents of younger children. As well as an expansive lawn, you'll find the hot tub, outdoor seating and a sofa set, all with easy access from the main space.
Multiple walking trails snake past the doorstep, and the nearby village has independent shops, rural charm, and a fantastic country pub. With Henley-on-Thames nearby, you're spoiled for choice when it comes to boat hire, upmarket eateries, and weekends spent exploring the antique shops and independent market stalls. Both Oxford and Reading can be reached in well under half an hour by car.
