The detail

Situated on the second floor of an ancient building in the heart of the historic town of Orvieto is Apartment Massi. Recently renovated, this gorgeous apartment has retained its original character, whilst also making the most of modern fixtures and fittings for added comfort. The modern furniture is comfy and the ancient details and fabulous artwork throughout help soothe the soul, making your stay that bit more relaxing.

Two large bedrooms are on offer, both of which have en suite bathrooms complete with luxurious walk-in showers. The big, comfy beds combine with the becalming colours and pastel shades to ensure guests enjoy a relaxing and comfortable night’s sleep. The spacious living room is great for socialising and also has satellite TV and a DVD player for cosy nights in.

The whole apartment is air conditioned and there’s also heating throughout for the colder months of the year. Guests can cook up locally sourced delights in the fully functional kitchen. You’ll also be pleased to receive a delightful welcome basket on arrival, stocked with plenty of lovely local products, as well as a bottle of wine and some delicious olive oil.

Once you venture out into the town of Orvieto you’ll be astonished at how much there is to see and do. This charming, historic town was once an important Etruscan city and boasts a fantastic heritage of art and history. Be sure to visit the Temple of Belvedere, The Archaeological Museum and don’t miss The Necropolis. There are also some charming eateries for nice evenings out or lunch times in the summer sun.

For those of you who wish to venture slightly further afield, Apartment Massi offers a great spot from which to explore some fabulous towns and cities. Not only is Umbria nearby and Tuscany just a few hours away, but Rome and Florence are also only a few hours drive from your door.
