If it is a base in the centre of Scotland's beautiful and historic capital you are seeking, then West End Muse is the perfect spot. Set on the first floor of a mews house in what was once a stable block, the apartment has been meticulously renovated by the owners. It proudly exhibits a combination of original fixtures and contemporary quirks, while the owners' own artwork can be found throughout, creating a stylish yet homely air. Sleeping a max of four guests across two bedrooms, West End Muse is ideal for small families or groups of friends who want to explore all that the historic Scottish capital has on show. Just remember to bring your walking shoes!
The apartment is accessed via a set of stairs which lead up to the main living area. This gorgeous open-planned space contains a large red velvet corner sofa which faces a SMART TV, mounted onto an original brick wall. There's also a wood burning stove to ensure you stay toasty and warm. The space also has a dining area that comfortably seats six, along with an office nook and desk where you can keep up with your emails. On the opposite side is the modern kitchen which comes fully equipped with modern appliances and has plenty of workspace ensuring meal prep is a breeze.
Both bedrooms sleep two people, one with a king size bed and the other a super king. Both bedrooms are comfy and spacious and have ample wardrobe space. They also both boast underfloor heating for added cosiness, and are joined by the stylish master bathroom - complete with a beautiful freestanding bath tub and shower. Opposite the smaller bedroom is a separate shower room for added convenience.
Edinburgh, Scotland's ancient capital, is a city awash with history and culture. Both Princes Street - the city's main shopping thoroughfare - and Edinburgh Castle - the iconic fortress and one of Scotland's most famous landmarks - are both a short distance from the apartment. Luckily, it is a very walkable city, so you will never be too far from its many places of interest. Whether it is the Royal Mile, The National Museum, The National Library, or The Old Town, you will not want for things to do. Edinburgh also has a wide array of various cafés and restaurants, while it also boasts a thriving nightlife that rivals any European capital.
